i understand they took a very long time with it, this is how they roll hmmm.. observing Gravewolf's work on mechs and how he progressed from scratch to painted finish .. compared with HL PRO.. i think he can do this in a few weeks lol Lol I'm not that fast plus to be fair they're doing mass production and distribution to different places. But looking at this figure I'm not sure why it's taking them forever to get this out. The design and engineering is simple and even cheats on the saucer combination. It's possible they are having some funding issues.

It's possible that Hlpro did not do the Jeeg figure themselves. Looking the design of the Jeeg figure compared to their own original releases seem like it was done by a different group that hlpro just funded.

about the Spazer combination, if you watch the anime you will see that the the dimension of both Gattaiger and the Spazer is way different between solo and in the combined mode so they either give Gattaiger a long arms and along neck or make the Spazer look slim i kinda like the way they did it
of course there's other ways to make it more accurate but they did it like they did Grendizer

It's possible they are having some funding issues. And I believe that this is why they "partner" with Fewture. I don't quite remember, but I do believe that the Z-Pro Jeeg was in development for about 2 years. After partnering with Fewture, it was finally released. But instead of being a Zona Hobby exclusive as it was originally intended, Fewture decided to release this toy in Asia under Action Toys. And after its success, this toy is also going to be released in Japan. So it seems that Fewture is calling the shots. In my opinion, Gattaiger was never ready. It is now being manufactured by Fewture at their factory.

Well if you go to Fewture's website (artstom.co.jp), using Google translator, at the bottom of every HL Pro figure it reads:
"Publisher: HL Pro Planning cooperation: ACTION TOY"
Since Action Toy is sort of an Asian branch of Fewture, it shows that Fewture is in charge.
I would not be surprised if Fewture eventually swallows HL Pro.

So yeah, with a transformation that would make Groizer X proud, it's nice that we even have the option to put the real robot (even if mutilated) inside the ship. And if you don't want to, you've got replacement parts, like the flatter anime-accurate head

You don't say no to a 30-minute movie after all. But isn't the spazer just called, well, Spazer? Then yes, the robot is Roboizer and all it can do is fly into stuff and punch things. When Roboizer combines with the Spazer you get Gattaiger, which makes sense considering that Gattai is Japanese for "combination". And Gattaiger had 4 attacks, yeah: that saw blade (which we're getting with the metaltech toy), the Needle Shower, the lasers and the Laser Focus attack. I think that's all. I know, not much when compared to Grendizer, hehe but this movie was made specifically to see if people were in the mood for a UFO super robot cartoon. It was a "test".

hehe as usual... HL Pro's never ending teasers... this figure is looooooooong overdue. Release it immediately.. so those who preordered can move on.. (to next the figure.... or... company? lol) perhaps it could have been easier for them if they did an option part saucer for GX-07 Iron Z.. instead of full Gattaiger set... oh well...

Looks done. Looks finished, to me. Why isn't it out yet?
C'mon HLPro. I want this out by the end of the year.

Remember Gone/Here/Tom/Gettershadow talking endlessly about their marketing strategy and releasing things at the right time???when is that time I wonder?? They NEVER give us any info,or have the sense to give us the facts, and YES they TOLD US this toy was DONE AND BOXED MONTHS AGO and sent to FEWTURE..and then show a prototype!!! this is why we are so negative.. What on earth do they expect making us wait almost 3 years for a SIMPLE made toy,and give us no answers other than untruths, and try to silence us when we talk about it! Im really happy these 3D printers are out now,we can make the quality robots we lack in our collections on our own soon!

in my personal theory, we saw alot of photos for the real actual toy so i guess they finished with it long time ago, but when HL Pro show it to Fewture they didn't like it so they started it all over again Fewture way

If that was the case wed see a drastic difference.just because you see a finished product doesn't mean they are all done its just a finished proto they even said that. Also what did they do with thousands of finished hlpro versions?? No this toy never got past proto with hlpro..and now fewture is buying time showing more protos.

Keep in mind Presentation or marketing prototypes are not the same as production ones. Fewture may have needed to rework less visually apparent things for production. Such as re-engineer joints or connectors, etc.
Plus I get the feeling that the "partners" in this are neither particularly balanced nor are they talking to or covering for each other. For all we know Fewture is on their expected production schedule and the other half has been jumping the gun on preorders and promises.
