Taking over Banpresto's throne? I had just bought the full-sized $69 Alumilite kit (everything included, and 32oz of resin in the kit as well)... ...just trying to psyche myself back into resin-casting. zozo-mag

LOL... materials as in filament? Pennies. But I'm having lots of trouble with the articulation. And, I want it to do more and look better than what my printers can output, so I had to mix and match other materials. It is turning to a Not-So-Fun project now... }|

wow cheapness? but the texture kinda looks rough and yeah guess you have to settle in to a more complex 3d program in order to get more details & articulation.

At this size, not even the Shapeways professional grade printers can achieve perfect results. I tried getting it printed there, and it was rejected for having walls too thin for their materials. But I do have the Smooth-on 3D resin stuff, which I may use to make it smoother. Either that or give it a very quick acetone vapor bath. }D
