according to the poster in the previous post, its somewhere in november, but not sure if its for preorder or the official release date.

Good news SF is not 35,000 yen and is actually 27,000 yen according to TAGhobby's latest update and magazine scan images. 27,000 yen is still a pricey beast, but if you want strike freedom you have to pony up the cash.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was expecting about this for a long time. I did it for a long time, but finally my favorite gundam -strike freedom- and finally is here, Im very happy because the same team that designed the Destiny Gundam, them work in this too, I have the hope that can be the best MB to the date.      the dragons can be separate!!!! this is so much.  |

any news when will they start to accept preorders? This is a regular retail release. Pre-orders will open on July 1st @ 4:00 PM Japan time. Expect for it to be sold out, at Japanese retailers, within seconds. |

That price is bullsh*t, they are just cashing in on the popularity of the suit. What makes this ¥27,000? Gold electroplating? that was done on the gold frame and that doesnt cost this much. Im still buying it because i love the SEED/Destiny designs but this is still a low blow by Bandai.

Hey guys I have a question. Do you feel that The Strike Freedom is worth $400? I just got back to collecting so I'm having to purchase on the secondary markets for some items. It looks great but the prices are astronomical. Some prices on eBay have reached $500-$600!!!! I messaged one guy and asked him for a discount and he immediately increased his listing price by $40!! Needless to say he hasn't sold his last two that he had listed.
Give me your opinion. $400 or nah?

But considering how long fans have been yearning for a MB strike freedom and it is (in my personal opinion) the best pre-painted and assembled figure out there, might worth springing for one, even at that price. But 500-600??? Better wait for the reissue, i am pretty sure we are going to get one down the road. |

I mean, this is a nutbar hobby we are in...putting in thousands/hundreds a year into "action figures". So, what I can say is that, the toy is very high-quality. It's gorgeous. And it's well-made. I love it. But, would I pay a markup when the price was already not that great to start with...? Ehhh...I dunno. BUT, depends how badly you must have it. If you are a completist, then...well, you're going to have to suck it up and pay for the asking price. End of the day, it's a great toy. You just need to ask yourself if you have 400 reasons to get it. |
