I got charged $50 last week for shipping and insurance for Poste Italiane from Itay...for 3 hot wheels size cars (to be fair, these are all plastic hot wheels style and not diecast, and the cardboard cards are about twice the size.
Seller still packed them crumpled on top of one another to make the smallest box possible.
Ridiculous, but apparently that's the only way to get your stuff out of Italy (EMS) and guarantee that it actually gets to you now.

That's kinda the thing I've learned about amiami...they're cheaper than HLJ, but they make up for it with more expensive shipping. On HLJ that would've cost about 680 yen.

Ok so I logged in to pay with a desktop and it gave me shipping options. Apparently mobile version doesnt let you change shipping. Turns out EMS was only 1180. SAL parcel is what was 2700. SAL packet was only 380. Big difference. I guess from now on I will always check out in desktop mode!
BTW sometimes people, like me, choose SAL to save money on smaller items. Ive learned that in cases like this with amiami and private warehouse with hlj, it is better to check all options. in some cases EMS is the cheapest...go figure.

I was gonna say the fees seems like SAL Parcel instead of plain SAL.
