Saw this tonight at nycc. It looks good. Not huge on the way the head connects but I feel that way about all of them. It's better than giant for sure.

He didn't show up for sale at the con, so I won't be getting him. I blew the budget on other things.

coldiron, how was the arm length? Its kinda tough to tell from photos because of angles, but it seems like this guy might suffer from gorilla arms. His hands look like they reach to his knees, which I hope is not the case.

The arms are longish but the proportions don't seem bad.

Okay...let me confirm one LAST time (sorry!!): This toy...contains ZERO metal/diecast? Every preorder site (and there are quite a few) has diecast in the description of the preorders for these toys. Yet, I am reading from here that some members who have had a close-look at the figures say there is ZERO diecast. Are we talking about false advertising across the board here by these vendors...?

I have seen zero mention of diecast from anyone who's got these in hand and haven't seen any beyond what was originally mentioned in solicitations.

Thanks, Lejam...then, many of the vendors (i.e. BBTS, TFSource, and others) are not accurate in their product description. I guess as tempting as it is, I will hold off and mark this as an excuse not to buy during a bad point in the economy and exchange rate. But, if it did feature metal, man...must-buy.

Like I said before, I think the metal content was an assumption that never got verified or corrected. Hell, some vendors use pre-production photos in their listings even after release that aren't accurate to the production version.
I'm not sure these guys warrant any die-cast, but I guess we'll find out once the whole set is out and somebody's Gravity Builder falls over due to sub-optimal balance and weight distribution.

That reminds me of the product listings for Badcube's Brawny and Backland figures - even long after they had come out most stores were still using the original product solicitations that said they would have rubber tires. In fact, looking on BBTS, they STILL say it.
