Wait for Amazon if you are in the U.S. Shipping will be ridiculous otherwise.

Looks awesome! I'm not sure there we should panic regarding availability. The Mazinger DX was everywhere when it first came out.

Which is not true. Just try this episode. Im refereing as having it expose all the time as a standard feature (should have made it clear), however i do agree he had it on in that episode but as well on the same episode is not there in some scenes (perhaps the inclusion was an error animation since from my understanding they where different teams at the time working on the show and the majority of the show didn't show it). A good example would be if you look at when GM deploys from the base or the Final battle episode of Great Mazinger and Mazinger Z or even the movies, you will see that GM has the collapse wings hidden away the majority of the time. Perhaps it even was plan from the begining by Kenzo Kabuto for the creation of the Great Booster that the scrander should hide away for the booster to dock in. Thats why i say that feature is only for the OVA Proto and Shin Great Mazinger since they show it as a standard look in comparison to Toei version.

Thats why i say that feature is only for the OVA Proto and Shin Great Mazinger since they show it as a standard look in comparison to Toei version. In the majority of the show, Great Mazinger would keep his Scramble Dash on, never to close it. You get the impression that he does completely hide his wings all the time due to the 'fire on' stock video that you see in every episodes, but no, the exclusion was more like the error here (or should I say due to the laziness lol) because the reference drawings do show the collapsed wings. It is my understanding that the Great Mazinger would hide his wings when he's in the base and have it collapsed in the combat. Then again, this is a 70s cartoon made for little children, there's no point on arguing about trivial details as such. In the end, the collapsed wing thingie is not created by Mazinkaiser OVA. It was on the TV show, and the comic book as well. Hell, they even had toys of it long before the Mazinkaiser OVA. i guess your right, but still always saw Toei Great Mazinger without the collapse wings most time so for me it makes sense in 2 ways, 1-he protects the wing in getting damage when not in use and 2- because of the inclusion of the Great Booster it makes sense to be store away. Thats how the movies and anime projected him having the wings hidden away the majority of time, i fully blame GoNagai, Toei and the entire Dynamic team for there lazy job and for that they should be punish. XD

Another comparison photo, this time with other Bandai Great Mazingers Naturally, given how $$$ the DX Soul of Chogokin is, he looks the jolliest. Reflects the mood of Bandai.

Wasn't expecting this price. Pretty much the same if I preordered from Japan I'd say. Maybe I'll just go with NY if they open up.
