No I just ran out of white filament lol. The pieces are printed separately though I could print 2 colors since my printer has dual extruders. But since I still sand and putty the printed pieces I make it doesn't matter what color I use.

Smart move, since that would also save filament. zozo-mag

LOL To be honest I did consider making the Bismark but the size of the shroud at the back is a bit of a problem. My current list right now includes Bryger , Goshogun, Ideon and the older robots I made that I need to finish. Just a bit more and the parts are gonna be completed.

Now that it has the feet it looks like it's gonna be taller than the average jumbo. SchwEEt! zozo-mag It's still exactly 24 inches so it's just as tall as a regular jumbo. It's the proportions that make it look taller than a jumbo.

Ah, now I see. Understood. At first glance I thought those feet seemed pretty tall with those thick soles. zozo-mag

I'm on the edge of my seat! ....DrrrrOOOOOoooool! That reminds me: are you gonna install jumbo machinder wheels on its feet, or will you leave it flat-footed? ( personally, I cut the wheels off my jumbos. I like mine flat-footed. lol) zozo-mag

No wheels as I forgot to add them and it would also be a bad idea since we have earthquakes here. I've printed the hands but I need to print the pegs for it.

Man the arms look awesome the way you designed and articulated them, and I love those fists! Did you model those fists using a typical jumbo's fists for size reference? Maaaaad Skillz there, brotha, lovin it! zozo-mag

Maaaaad Skillz there, brotha, lovin it! zozo-mag I actually cheated a bit. The fists were getting me frustrated cause it was difficult to sculpt with tinkercad so I modified an already made fist I found online some time ago which had the look of a machinder fist. I edited some details to make it look more robotic and corrected some proportions like the short thumb that needed to be longer. It's a little smaller than a machinder fist cause it would look a bit weird if I made it too big. This just saves me time to be able to do more things like finishing the ratchet shoulder attachment that i'm now printing. The design for this enables the arm to be plugged in while still being able to make the ratcheting action.

^ ^ ^ JEEEEZUS, THAT is so friggin AMAZING! Now I'm speechless, I've watched many custom figures made here at RJ, and they all stand on their own. I just can't describe how your project raises the notch to the next level. To my knowledge and short-time experience in this hobby, I've rarely seen stuff like this in other hobby forums of the same genre, except on a few brief occasions; but it's happening right here at RJ! You truly are an engineer's Engineer! zozo-mag

I honestly don't think I deserve that much praise lol, I know there are a lot of people out there who create so many great things that I also draw inspiration from. I just do what I love doing and solve problems I encounter while doing it. The joint is done and managed to attach it to one side.

I'm blown away... I've never seen this type of engineering done with a jumbo type figure. It's truly inspiring! zozo-mag

I'm just glad it worked on the first try. Designing something then waiting for hours to get it printed and then finding out it doesn't work is really frustrating. Everythi.g is now printed but I'm having trouble trying to find the spring so I might modify the launching mechanism based on whatever spring I find that will do the job.
