repaints are fine on $50 figure but this is a DX so we are looking for atleast $300 figure, speaking for my self i wont buy the exact same $300 figure just for colors  |

ok ok im confused i know the show and the character but they changed the names in the dubbing i remember that skull robot but its really foggy in my head so could some one post photos for the robots that he think they will be in the production line  many thanks in advance |

s_gokin its really hard for me to post pics on my phone.
i will describe them.
roy fokker was the original leader of the skull squadron. he piloted the yellow and black trimmed vf-1s with the four head guns.
rick hunter/hikaru originally piloted the red and black trimmed vf-1j (two head guns) but moved to the vf-1s and the leadership of skull after roy was killed.

yes exactly that's it thanks guys, i also remember there was a video game on ps2 for it sorry for asking alot but what about YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie ? this one  i almost bought one because it looks really good but i dont know any thing about it  |

I think you need it more than I do, coz' you said you were "sick" of Bandai issuing a Hikaru. lol:-) (its a joke pls dont get it the wrong way!) OK enough of my lame punch line, enough of the chill pill as well. Im not the "guy" with the hot tempered head who lurks in the forum so dont take my reply negatively. Im with you people in Bandai releasing this DX VF1J, which I consider a Holy Grail. There are 2 major valks that I really like, the 1J which Hikaru piloted & the 1S Roy piloted then later pass it on to Hikaru. But of course there are some exemptions, 1A, 1D, Super O & the Elint,...well OK I like em all. But the ridiculous & insane prices permits me to get em all. But I dont "rant" I take it like a pinch of salt and suck it in my system until I get over it. At this point Bandai can do what ever they want, all we can do is either support them or not. I admit I have a obsession with the skull insignia. If I have to buy only one DX Valk that would be 1S, because Roy & Hikaru piloted it & coz the uniqueness of the skull insignia. But who knows its possible Bandai might do it after the succes of DX1J sales. It happened with DX Maz then Bandai did a DX Great Maz. So Im optimistic of the possibility but then again time can only tell. BTW does anyone still remembers how much Bandai DX Mazinger SRP price before? Just to gauge the price for this new DX VF1J, thou this could cost more coz it looks it can transform to 3 modes. |

The YF-29 is from the macross frontier movies, set some 40+ years after the in universe time of the original Macross tv show. Between the time line of the two shows there were the OVA Macross plus, the long tv series Macross 7, and a couple other Macross 7 OVAs.
The YF-29 was designed to fight the Varjura, the enemy biomecha in frontier.

When you mention the GBP armor & fast packs, I realize the potential of this piece. Bandai will surely exploit all the possible add-on gimmicks they can throw on this beast!!!
