any of you experienced bits and pieces of the Getter Vol. 1 suddenly shearing off for no apparent reason? one of the ball joint on Getter 1's cape suddenly snapped. couldn't remedy it with super glue. while it doesn't affect anything, it just made me extra cautious, and jiffy about the whole product range in general. and i've already pre-ordered the remaining sets.

Getter 2's neck. mine broke at the ball-joint as the peg holding it up was WAY too thin. that should have just been a peg. I was able to make an alternate fix with some plastic cement (Melts the plastic together) and superglue (Glued behind the part for extra support). I'll keep Getter 1's cape in mind since I need to disassemble the kits to paint them. also I accidentally created unintended articulation by shaving down the inside of Getter 2's face-piece ever so slightly. it now rotates! I would also be careful of getter 2's lower legs. do not disassemble them. the parts are too tightly connected and something WILL break. you're intending to paint the kit, paint the joint BEFORE you assemble the lower leg. Getter 1 and Getter 3 are fine on my product. aside from a loose ball-joint on Getter 3's shoulder, but I chalk that up to a fluke, as I checked the parts and nothing's broken there.

I know this is gonna be a weird ask, but could someone here place the Minipla Getter 1 next to a few of the Getter Revoltechs? Primarily Getter Go and New Getter 1?
I'm trying to see if the Minipla scale at all with the Revoltechs, of if they're just too small.

If im not deep into SOCs and only now starting to collect super robots.. i would choose these over SOCs. Almost same transformation.. ofcourse waay cheaper.. and will save a lot of space for me. plus they got those missing in SOCs in thier lineup.

I've enjoyed building these model kits. They are rather sticker heavy though, if you don't paint them.

Speaking of, I fixed my Getter 1's hips and painted up Shin Getter 1. now I gotta wait til I can buy a second copy of Vol. 2 to build Dragon and both Black Getters. and as to not clog this thread, I put all of my Minipla Getter Vol. 1 stuff here: imgur.com/a/TGALjrT

I'd like it if they'd just release the damn FA already.

Confirmed Bandai Super Mini-Pla series addition. This along with a crowd of Votoms shown at Wonderfest Summer. I'm excited for this one.

Wow, this line is non-stop releases. Baikanfu. Possibly P-Bandai only. Slated for Spring 2020.

Bandai's sort of slowing down the SOC line with some of thier underwhelming releases lately(except for the upcoming Dairugger ofcourse)..and focus on the explosion of popular characters in the Bandai Minipla (plus the super robots in HG line). Its a welcome news really... if they are going to reach to other fanbase who cant afford the hobby or have other important priorities and does not want to spend too much money for it.
