Panel lining will probably enhance it more. The color for the weapon isn't that bright but ill see more referrence pics if i need to change it. The Tetsujin fell on the floor and the foot fell apart and messed up the paint job so i had to reapply some putty but i forgot to repaint it.

The vintage weapons are a shade of blue/gray/green. A little softer/darker than the blue you used for now.

I'll look into that color combination. To be honest painting isn't my strong point lol.

He's actually a smaller robot compared to the scopedog lol, he only looks sd. The scopedogs height is about 3.8 meters while he's at 2.9 but he's still an interesting fodder mech.

"It's over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAND!" Sorry, I couldn't help it.. I think this is by far your best work. You seriously need to get a better camera to do your bots justice!

Well at least this verifies that a microman would fit as when I modelled the cockpit I only had a 3d dummy model to fit inside. The problem now is trying to find that microman chirico as it's rare. Yeah I'll probably need to get a better camera but I'd rather spend that money on a newer figure lol.

i swear gravewolf that you're really an alien because your work is out of this world, scopedog looks incredible and tbh he looks much better than the official ones out there.
wish i could do this kind of things but sadly i don't have this level of skill or dedication. you know, when you have the time for it you should takle on making a SoC Mazinkaiser of course plastic version.

Lol, when you like what you're doing, things are just fun even if you encounter lots of headache. One of the reasons I made this scopedog was to stop myself from buying the Takara version since it's so damn expensive these days and I want to challenge myself with more advanced figures since I'm slowly gonna do different types of action figures. Well I was gonna do Mazinkaiser but decided to go with Mazinkaiser Skl and it's a project that I'm doing with a friend though he's not gonna be small.

How come I mis this thread, d@mn that is soo frickin cool GW! How much did the total 3d printing cost for this figure? or you got your own 3d printer? The only expense is the filament since I have my own printer. The whole figure weighs 500 grams with the weapon modules attached. I'm happy with the project as I was itching to get a scopedog figure but the takara and yamato ones are way beyong my current budget. I still plan on making the other variant plus I'm gonna do some improvements to the joints designs and some parts.

Inspiring as always Gravewolf! Beautiful work. Panel lines would indeed spruce things up....I can only imagine how your painting skills will evolve if you have this level of work in 3D. Awesome Ed
