I signed up via ebay to check it out. NOTE: There is a lag. SO when you sign up, you then wait to get approved.
Plan ahead. My ebay took a bit of time, so don't wait.

All platforms should work well, I do find auctionzip a little better.
As Ed said, whatever platform you choose (or absentee or phone bidding through the auction house), get registered NOW.
The Auction is this Saturday and I am sure there are registration cutoffs! Don't wait and lose a chance to bid on some amazing items!

Even if you are still unsure of bidding, get registered now so you don't miss out/miss the deadline for approval.

BTW, and this may be posted elsewhere, the phone bidding saves you a fee. You can cut down your fee from 2x% to 19% buyers fee by either attending (not possible for many) or doing a phone in bid.

Ed Travis here chiming in, I organized the sale for the most part. That is correct you can save on bidding fees by either leaving a absentee bid or registering to be a live phone bidder. When you do this the buyers premium is 20% with credit or 18% with cash or check. The only downside is if you are not a tax exempt dealer, you do need to pay the 7% sales tax. It basically comes out to a wash either way but I do know that Live Auctioneers is 23% versus Auctionzip/Invaluable/eBay Live of 25%. I didn't realize the sales tax issue when I spoke to Ed yesterday, the office manager had to remind me.

Thank you guys for everyone that bid today. The auction house told me that if you won anything you bid on, you will be notified/invoiced in a few days.
Some of my items did not sell, I will update my thread as soon as I find out what remains available. If you were interested in anything in particular, please contact me by PM.

Any of my items that did not sell in the auction are still available for purchase. You can see them in my thread here: robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=8&action=display&thread=24100Most of what is left is extremely difficult to find, either because of the toy itself, or the condition mine is in. I also have several other vintage items I am selling, so if you have wants, PM me your list. Thanks!
