I'm so excited for this figure and the Megazord, but on the other hand I'm sad that I sold my SOC Godsigma, God Mars, Gunbuster, and Baikanfu, for financial reasons. I wish I still had those figures to display next to these two awesome renditions.

I hope SoC Voltron will be successful enough for Bandai to finally consider making an SoC Dairugger XV. Don't get your hopes. WEP has made it clear that they have no intentions of ever doing anything with Dairugger/Vehicle Voltron. They lied to Vehicle fans for all of 2013 claiming to have special projects just for Vehicle fans [basically it was a thinly veiled act of begging usto not buy MMWs VV that came out that year]

No regrets, tried Hot toys and it ain't working for me. I cancelled my War Machine MK I pre order as well. Always a Transfomers FAN (can't wait for the Masterpiece Megatron) and Voltron would be my first chogokin.

Cause I know a couple of reviewers who have been dying for a definitive Vehicle Voltron to replace the Miracle version.

Aw, come on EVERYBODY has a price.... I know i do....I'm not cheap but i do have a price lol.
Bandi should rain on WEP till they say ok......or realistically reach a deal that will benefit both parties. Why is WEP saying never? I think they just want more money. Theres no other logical reason besides that. I mean, whats the point of holding on to property if youre not going to make money off of it? Is WEP THAT insane?
It seems like So many people want Vehicle Voltron too...especially now with SOC Voltron pending release.

Hey guys, sorry if this was discussed before, but has anyone heard about there being 2 different versions for Voltron?
A friend was telling me that it was mentioned somewhere online (he couldn't recall the website) that the Asia version might be different compared to the USA market version?
The name plate for the display base on the USA will have "Voltron" only while the Japan version will have "Golion" only (meaning neither of them will have both plates?) and that the USA version will have an outer sleeve box that says "Voltron" that may or may not be included with the Japan/Asia version.
I have no idea if this is just internet speculation or actual fact. What we do all know for sure is that there are 2 different name plates for the display base based on the older images online. Anyone else come across this in preorder announcements or anywhere else?

I'm more interested to see if we can get a English instructions.

I agree, it's going to be interesting if the instructions will be in English, we got bilingual instructions before with the Captain Harlock Arcadia but it was just a page translated for the remote control guide. I have absolutely no faith in them at this stage. If they had any intention of getting any VV merchandise out then we would have had an MP-Vehicle Voltron from Toynami by now.

We could have said the same about the chances of ever seeing a Golion SOC not so long ago. Eh, some probably did just that. Yet, it's happening. I think the future is brighter for a Dairugger/Vehicle Voltron SOC now than it was a few years ago. I'm not saying they're expert strategists, but I don't think WEP are burying the license. To me, it sounds more like it's just that they have no plans for it at the moment, focusing on Lion Force Voltron. Even if they're not actively working on reviving the license, if the Golion/Lion Force Voltron is a success, I don't think they'd automatically turn down Bandai if they came to them with plans for a Dairugger SOC.
Toynami did release a vinyl Vehicle Voltron around the same time as Miracle Production's diecast combiner. It's not a SOC Dairugger, but it's something.

Dont mind having both Miracle Dairugger and that dreamy "SOC Dairugger"... its one of those toys that looks good to display in both robot and alternate modes.

I have both the regular and stealth versions of that one. The newest Mark 45 is incredible, one of the best things in my collection, period....maybe until Hulkbuster. Well hopefully Hulkbuster is awesome since it's so pricey.

think about it like the SRC Daizyujin/Megazord if you get it from a US based store the box will have a sticker with Power Rangers logo on it, however if you get it from a Japanese store it will come without the sticker, if i remember correctly it will have Super Sentai on it or something like that i guess it will be the same case to Golion\Voltron i want the Japanese release that's why i went with HLJ
