Finally got this figure and I love it. It's perfection in gokin. Sadly my second hand copy didn't come with the stickers. Guy threw them out and didn't tell me when I bought it If anyone doesn't want their stickers... Wait, what stickers? And why the hell would he throw them out?

Just a theory, but maybe he put them on, it wasn't on perfectly and was crooked or they started to peel off. Thus, didn't look good so ripped them off and threw it away. I have no plans to use mine but I am not gonna throw them away.

Man......I wished I had saved up for this Soul of Chogokin when I did.
Didn't thinknthat after the price hikes it would have it would still sell out as quick as it did. Like it was only around for a few months.

I thought that was silly because it's easy enough to add some stick to stickers. Tetsuryu, the stickers of the numbers for each lion.

The reason they weren't sticking well wasn't the sticker quality it was that Voltron had a lot of lubricant that I think aids in releasing it from the mold still on it. Or at least that's what I think I remember reading somewhere in this thread.

I was surprised when they didn't have extra panels to replace the legs for more anime accurate look. At least an option parts set that's a mail order exclusive and over priced. Exactly my feelings, I was a bit disappointed that they did an updated 80's Popy version versus an anime accurate figure. I thought for sure with today's tech that they would have had the legs removable and panels to cover up the holes. I have always wanted a Voltron figure that when combined is more anime accurate. Oh well at teals I still have the Mattel Blazing Voltron. Just wish he was bigger.

I'm sure they will do a version with panels. Voltron was very profitable. Why not go back to the well again? Lol. And we will buy it.

I'm surprised a third party company hasn't made panels yet. They would probably sell like crazy, and they'd be dead simple to make too - the only "hard" part would be matching Voltron's color and finish.

No, I wish. My parents thought these were too dangerous for me to have when I was a kid, so I never got one. Maybe if they had, I wouldn't be so broke these days....hmmmm.

im sure this is not the last Voltron we will see from Bandai, there is a place for an R version, an anniversary version, and SRC version not to mention a reissue
we just have to wait

Maybe thise leg covers people are asking for or the Black Lion's wings having that Y shape it would have had. Maybe actually having the rocket tongues of the Blue and Yellow Lions be poseable like the cannons on the mouths of Red and Green Lion.

Seeing how successful GX-71 is - for sure, a reissue, renewal, recolor = $$$ for Bandai

When I first got voltron the left shoulder clip would not clip in, eventually I found a way to do it by engaging the rear half, then the front, however in trying again today (after a couple months of him sat on the shelf) it goes in as easily as the right! Weird, but my nails are happy!
Fiddling with voltron again I'm reminded that this is easily the most impressive toy I own, sure the other SOC I have are impressive but the combination of heft, ease of use, perfect engineering (only that shoulder clip issue seems to have been a bug bear for some, but why mine suddenly works is a bit of a mystery) no partsforming and sheer beauty make it the winner, makes even MP transformers seem incredibly average by comparison.

I started collecting MP transformers..great figures..but soul of chogokin is on a different level..got addicted..sold my transformers and focused on soc (also starting now at the metal build line) Never looked back..no regrets..voltron easily my favorite as well, even special got it in japan 2 days before the generL release
