They might do it. But I think they would wait a few years.

From what I read Japan isn't to thrilled with this version of Voltron. This a American/Japanese anime mix which seems like it hasn't struck a cord with your typical Japanese fan. It is certainly different with Voltron in combined form really only showing up maybe a third of the series. That for me is a little bit of a turn off, I do miss the monster of the week formula and having a foe Voltron actually fights instead of just wiping out ships and stuff. I love the story and actual character development, but I also want more Voltron fighting other robots too.

id rather have the high quality jaw dropping fights like against zarkon, lotor which rank against some of the best all time mecha fights than generic timepass monster of the week ones. If this was a weekly series then I mightve preferred those but since this is made for binge watching those would have become old FAST, id say s1 and 2 had a good mix of those fights anyway and its just not feasible to do them as much with the politics and epic scope of the series expanding in subsequent seasons
anyway any source for that japan reception? that kinda surprises me tbh since the show has been so quality overall and legit given me chills and tears of joy, then again if anime rankings from japan are any indication the japs themselves arent exactly indicators of quality

I feared we would never get the rest of the Paladins or that nice Zarkon figure once Target and Walmart abruptly clearanced the current toys and removed their shelf space. That plus TRU folding.
I know the Paladin figures were not the greatest but they do look good with their helmets on standing in a case with Voltron(s) and I really wanted to have the whole team. The only other options are those crap old Panosh Place figures or the very expensive Matty Collector pilots. So this sucks in my opinion.
By the way, if anyone still needs the little metal combining lions, Ollie’s closeout stores has then for 7.99 each.

I would love a SOC version of VLD. And without giving anything away, the final "boss" from season 6 in SOC form would also be awesome.

the fight was f**king amazing but the design of lotron itself was ok, I would much rather take a zark(tr)on

Always been a huge fan of LEGO, admired it but never purchased it except for my kids (duplo) But this thing is just gorgeous! Dream come true!!!! Are Lego Ideas Limited? Glad we have a region store here in NZ, how does and what time the PO start? 185 USD is not bad...I was expecting it to be $300 USD...

The Lego set looks amazing, but I'm having some sticker shock. Do you guys think this thing will really sell out? I'm not familiar with collecting Legos, so not sure if this is something to jump on ASAP, or wait out for a sale....

I buy legos for my son mostly Star Wars and some can get pricey and else but given the nature of LEGO I don’t see this being a instant sold out or being an exclusive run of say 5000 boxes for example. They apparently known how much nostalgia and money this figure can bring so they decided to made this...maybe will buy it, but at a sale price.. Will not doubt this will appear at your local target stores...

Forgot to mention this LEGO’s can be pricey.. I just went to target today and saw the LEGO’s Death Star for the modest price of $499. I mean seriously .... (back to topic)
The price tag of $180 seems reasonable. Cool set tho but not something I will go for...
