Great review. I love the comparison shots. I was not expecting it to be so close in size to Ideon. Or to stand above God Sigma. Wow! That's just awesome.

well from what i remember the vintage Bismarck was very popular that they released another version that doesn't transform into the battle ship it was a robot mode only and i disagree Bismarck will be a very good choice if they decided to make it, and they will milk the whole market since there isn't any Bismarck figure for me personally Albegas and Bismarck are on the top of my wish list, im not into Dairugger XV at all this is on of my favorite reviews Gold thank you for your time and for your efforts, i know how annoying to dig out all those figures just to take couple of photos

Gold thank you for the outstanding review! Lots of goody tips and fun facts!!
I know how intensive to pack and unpack toys....im still having a nightmare from days of packing my toys. To do it right, it takes ton of energy. Only 9 hours pack and unpack that many toys is pretty efficient.

You need to snap those shoulders in.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you all liked the review. This is seriously one of the best Chogokin toys Bandai's ever released and the fact that it's Voltron makes it all the more awesome. I sincerely hope anyone who's a Voltron and a Chogokin fan gets one, despite the price it's insanely great. Gold, great review as always! Very thorough. The shoulder locks on my black lion lock in very solid and does not come apart unless I pull on the joint from the back. Are you using enough force to lock the taps? You should hear a click when it locks. I didn't do this at first and was disappointed that it didn't lock properly but now it stays in place. Also, I have scuff marks on both sides of the extended torso. Anyone getting these? Thanks Tturbozx66. I pushed the locks on the Black Lion as far in as I could, I'll give it a try again when I get home (in about 3 weeks.. lol.. sigh, work takes me out of town for long periods). Sorry to hear about the scuffing on the extending torso. I didn't see that on mine. Is it bad? Gold

I would love to be able to stand all four or five Voltron related robots in a row as nice in scale SOC diecasts. Daltanius, Voltron, Dairuger XV, Albegas (and at some future point Legendary.) Bismark/Ramrod is not one that I have ever had a lot of attachment to. I would get one so long as it is well executed. But not high on my wish list. Whereas Dairuger and XV are at the absolute top of it now. (Which is weird to say considering 4 of my top 5 have already been announced, released or leaked as coming soon. Voltron, Daizyujin, SOC Jeeg and SOC Mazinkaiser would appear to be in the pipeline, no? )

Hey Gold! For the shoulder locks, you have to push really hard using your nail. I thought I was going to break something but sure enough, it clicked. Once locked, the shoulders are rock solid.

Yeah, some are easier then others. One of my black lions clicked in no problem, the other was much harder, but finally went in.

Thanks Ozmalee and Holygrail, I'll give it another go when I get home. Gold Oh, forgot to mention, for my second lion, I used a flathead plastic tool, to push it in. I couldn't do it with my fingernail. After doing that the first few tries, I could then lock it with my fingernail.

I just binge watched the second season of Voltron on NetFlix.
It has a really good ending!
After seeing the new Voltron design throughout the series, I think I'd like a SOC version of it.
