Hey do you guys think that the U.S. release will say Megazord and have a slip cover like GX-71? It would not surprise me. Heck I wont be shocked if it ends up on the shelf at Toys R Us.

But who would be brave and crazy enough to go out to a brick and mortar store to pay $300+ for even an SoC? People would just buy a PS4 or an Xbox with said money. That and Legacy Thunder Megazords are shelf-warming even at my locals at $200.

Hey do you guys think that the U.S. release will say Megazord and have a slip cover like GX-71? if i remember it correctly, if you get the SRC from a US store you will get couple of power rangers stickers that hide the Japanese logo under it that was the main different from me %99 i will store the box away so i wont bother im not saying the GX-71 slip cover is ugly im just saying all i care about is the figure

Heads up for headphone users. Sweet find. I am right now saving up for this guy amongst others but yeah, that is one SoC I am getting Day 1. I just wished I managed to save enough for Voltron. I wonder if the Megazord can bend its knees. I am guessing that will be done with the butt end of the Triceratops and Sabertooth Tiger.

It's good looking chogokin. I hope that sword is chrome just like the others like Voltron, Voltes V, Daiojah etc.... You still can get him for $267 from kirinhobby. Their customer service and packaging is great. I got my Voltron from them. www.kirinhobby.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=15636

Looking at Tyronosaurous zord, Im pretty sure he can bend his knees. I would be shocked if SOC engineers cant come through....although Mazinger Z DC....NVM.

OK that's just gorgeous. Looks to be on par with GaiGaiGar in terms of shelf presence. I also love how you can tell its an early production test sample loaned out to marketing, if you know what to look for. (The dated permanent marker near the head is a huge tip off.)

Thanks bader. I was wondering when we were going to get new info on him. It's getting closer to release so I was thinking that the push would have started in earnest.

Remember the time when SOC releases were months and months apart? and sometimes there are barely 2-3 releases in a year that nobody is excited about? I am glad that Bandai is finally getting their sh*t together.

Not complaining as this is a Megazord worth the $300.

This guy swill look spectacular standing next to Voltron and God Sigma all i need is Godsigma to complet that, and an SRC Voltron too lol I think we will see an SRC Voltron at some point. Right now Amazon is reporting the SOC Voltron will ship in 1-3 months. That typically means that they are sold out from the factory warehouse, but the manufacturer is still taking orders as they have another production run coming. When was the last time we saw that with a SOC? Heck I think the last time Bandai reached that point with a Chogokin was the classic Popy/Matchbox GoLion back in '84. The little light has gone off in Bandai's head "License to Print Money!!! We want more things like this!" This bodes well for Daizyujin and sentai/Power Rangers fans, as many of those bots qualify as "More things like this!!!" I'm betting the production order for GX-72 has been increased a bit. (assuming they can spare the factory time). Watch GX-72's sales as well. GX-71 and 72 represent something we have not seen from Bandai's Chogokin lines in recent decades. A deliberate intent to release and sell simultaneously in both asia and the West. Particularly North America. They are starting to tailor some things for the North American release. In the past NA and Europe were always afterthoughts. Happy accidents. Things like the SHMA Godzilla's and the SHFA Avengers and Star Wars figures are starting to focus them on North America as a primary market. Voltron may have elevated that. Daizyujin may seal the deal. And if thats the case we may start to see things like SOC Dairuger XV, or Dekaranger Robo etc. SOC's that have dual purpose and audience. Also based on Voltrons success I am going to predict that we see a re-release or redo of GX-13 Dancouga sooner rather than later. Just because it plays into that similar theme and aesthetic. ('Hey you people like Cats combining? and Dinosaurs combining? Well here this ones got elephants and tigers and bears combining!") (and yes I know no bears, but you know what I mean.) Somebody is gonna put that sucker onto an accelerated cycle. Oh and yeah, you really do need a God Sigma. He's one of my favorites. Big solid chunky robot with a nice basic and traditional yet extremely well executed transformation that is near perfect (one option to take off two small feet parts to avoid kibble). He has a stunning shelf presence. Really only dwarfed by Voltron and Ideon.

The engineering for the old SoC is decades old now and as I have mentioned many times before, the Sentinel offerings have helped improve upon said designs. I would love a proper SoC Black Wing release. So I can have it perch on the back of a possible SoC Dancouga 2.0.

Dragonzord next please. Cannot have one without the other. Bioman, changeman, and flashman would be nice too. I do not want to forget dairugger and albegas because those are a must.

Would love a Dragon Caesar to go with it. Dunno if Bandai should do King Brachion to be quite honest. A lot of people did not like paying $200 for the Legacy release. Though I do see Dragon Caesar being the same price as SoC Goldymarg. And Dairugger XV should be next on the Voltron list. I do wonder how Albegas would be done as there was a magnetic version of the toy as well. As for Sentai mecha needing updates....I would love a Jet Icarus. Something from Flashman,Liveman and Maskman would be amazing as well.
