actually no, HLJ put the last day of the month of the release just in case something happen "This item is expected to be released on or about 04/30." sometimes the release is earlier than the official release date and sometimes its on point, as i remember the 2nd release of Voltes V was way earlier than the official release date unless you are dealing with HL Pro or 5Pro

So HobbyLink Japan has confirmed the release date is 4/30. hlj.com/product/BANN05218I just really want to pay off my SoC Daizyujin. Hate having to watch how much I spend before then. The official release date is actually 04/29 tamashii.jp/item/11602/

I wonder if they will do a North American "Power Rangers" slip cover for GX-72 the way they did with GX-71? They shouldn't have a licensing issue with the name given the longstanding relationship between BOA and Saban I would think?

Hey thanks brother!! That answers that question. Kinda figured that it be this way since Voltron came on the scene.

Whoa! That's some sweet boxart for the international edition. BUT at the end of the day it's the toy in the box that matters!

Anyone else think this is gonna be an actual package redesign and not a sleeve?

It's likely a sleeve, the same as GX-71

Man, thats one imposing robot. I wonder whos heavier? Him or Voltron.. According to a recent interview with a Bandai product designer, the Megazord here will be a little lighter than Voltron, but fans should still be pleased with the diecast content.

Man, thats one imposing robot. I wonder whos heavier? Him or Voltron.. According to a recent interview with a Bandai product designer, the Megazord here will be a little lighter than Voltron, but fans should still be pleased with the diecast content. That was a great interview. It's almost 3 hours long but tons of info about the inner workings of Bandai, upcoming stuff. I recommend everyone watch it Some things that grabbed me: - He's in charge of the Hi-Metal R and Robot Spirits lines among other things. Also looks like he was involved in the Voltron design too. - Looks like the interview happened before NY Toy Fair. He hints at the Pacific Rim license that was announced there. - With Hi-Metal R they want to get all 4 destroids released asap. - Some stuff lined up for october to celebrate Macross 35th anniversary. - SHF Minmay a possibility! He wants to do Macross pilots too but while they've heard from US fans that want them, it's the lack of interest in Japan that's keeping it from happening. - Talks about how SoC Voltron was based on the anime - SHF Voltron pilots are considered. A lot more Voltron related stuff in the pipeline!!! - I like how his face lights up when asked about Dairugger. He says itβs one of the top requests in Japan so that's a good sign. I get the feeling that they are working on it but he can't reveal anything yet. - He posits that if Voltron had 35% die-cast, Megazord would have 25% And that's just from the first hour!

kinda disappointed, not with the result, i knew the winner before its even started, its just they didn't do good research like they always do 1st they used WEP version as a source which we all know is heavily edited and not right, Voltron wasn't divided to 5 lions by Honerva (Haggar) its was divided by the goddess of the universe according to the original story line 2nd according to most sources Voltron Height is 60M while Daizujin is 41.7M but they showed Daizujin tower over Voltron 3rd im sure Voltron didnt summon multiple Space cutter at once and shot them at his enemies it was only one, but i would like to think about it as an action factor, also they didn't use half of Voltron weapons lastly their Voltron isnt anime accurate how dare they kindly could you summarize the key points, i really cant spend 3 hours watching this Hello and welcome to RJ tyrannoranger im sure they guys from Europe will help you

I got the impression from the guy in the interview that bandai is REALLY considering releasing the dragonzord, as in more than likely. He emphasized they want to do more Sentai products. No likelihood if re releasing the mmpr figuarts any time soon though π

I got annoyed with the third guy saying that American collectors didn't know about SOC. That we think SHF Dragon ball figures are so expensive and had to really expand our minds to comprehend the cost of SOC Voltron! LOL
