Glad you choose to go for it and I hope you'll score one very soon. That plan got ruined quick. Turns out the 1200 dollars I was expecting for my tax refund turned into 300 dollars.

Yes they sent me a link like they've always done. I use PayPal but without the billing agreement. Honestly I didn't notice any changes at all. well someone is smoking the good stuff and its not me i will email them after the golden week but could it be because 2 items became available at the same time ? Guys ... how much is it costing to ship this from hlj ? bro HLJ have a shipping calculator, after you purchase the figure make sure to choose private warehouse, then go to it you will see how much each shipping method cost and how long it will take

THis is from HLJ's payment method page ( link): Q: I have a PayPal Billing Agreement in place, and I love it. What happens to me? A: Nothing! Just continue to select your PayPal Billing Agreement as your payment method during checkout, and things will continue to work as always. And be sure to tell your friends how easy and convenient it is! Q: I like using regular ol' PayPal. What happens to me? A: Nothing! Just select "Checkout with PayPal or a credit card" during checkout, choose regular PayPal, and you'll be sent a PayPal payment request when your items are ready, just like we've always done. Anyway, hope you get everything resolved with HLJ.

First impressions. Very cool figure. With some gripes. It is heavy and has nice construction. Very nice paint.
I don't think it is the same quality as the Voltron. The legacy megazord has diecast tails, however on this chogokin the Triceratops and sabertooth both have hollow plastic tails. The head in Megazord mode is also noticeably small compared to the legacy figure. I have to say in many ways I prefer the legacy figure. Especially the value. You get a lot more value out of the legacy figure compared to this chogokin. Even with the lack of articulation.
Don't get me wrong. The SOC doesn't feel like a cheap figure at all. I think it could have used some accessories to increase its value and feel like I got my $300 worth. Perhaps a larger swapable head like daltanious. I'm very happy to have this figure in my collection. It just didn't give that OMG WOW felling I got with Voltron.

I can see why people would feel a bit, disappointed is a strong word, underwhelmed by the SoC Megazord compared to Voltron. I really wished I managed to snag one myself without paying ridiculous prices for it. Like seriously,BBTS had increased the price 2 times before it sold out. I am hoping there would be a 2nd wave for Voltron so I would not pay the aftermarket prices. Yeah,it will be a while.

I will never understand why anyone would want option parts to make the SOC look like that awful cardboard costume...

I will never understand why anyone would want option parts to make the SOC look like that awful cardboard costume... There is a charm to it. Even if said costumes are not accurate to the initial sketches or line works and whatnot, because it is shown on screen there are people who want to have a figure based on such even when it does not look too great when looking at it again. I mean,I can understand the amount of work it takes to create a real life approximation of what the mecha would look like but even then, that is why mecha in anime were once sorta king when it comes to presentation. Nowadays,it is hard to find as many mecha anime like it was say in the 80s.

Why try and turn the SOC into something it was very clearly never intended to represent?

So I cannot say much on their behalf but as far as I am concerned, the small head is a non-issue for me. Especially if Bandai ever decides to make an SoC Dragon Caesar to go with this piece. Personally,I would stop there as I am more than okay with bricking my Legacy Megazord for Ultrazord.

Voltron was my first gokin and can still remember the time I opened him up "this is soooo incredible and freaking heavy!" I'm sure they will look good together. I might get the gun barrels off the back when I transform him, not a big fan of it, just my opinion

Thank you brother, well I just got an update that Daizyujin left customs! Might be getting him tomorrow, am so excited! And it has been a long road, in fact I joined these boards because Daizyujin was the only reason I found out about he Soul Of Chogokin line. In fact it won't be the last Chogokin I get, already I'm building my list. I am beyond ready to receive my favorite mecha of all time. It's interesting to gage reactions from here and other boards to SOC Daizyujin. On the one hand I think some expected the absolute perfect toy of the character becaus voltron was so good, and thus became disappointed. I've heard people say that legacy offers more than SOC, which I cannot understand. Until I have the toy in hand, I won't confirm this but SOC seems to be the best Combination of a legacy megazord (diecast and proportions) with playability of the old dx. I wonder if Daizyujin would've come out before Voltron, the situation would be reverse. As xephon pointed out, if you want total accuracy the giant version was available. As for me, this is the definitive megazord because it Gave me what I really wanted: highly detailed, posable dinozords, especially the trex. The Daizyujin itself was secondary, so I'm beyond thrilled. However, even the doc Daizyujin has great looking proportions and is highly articulated which is enough to consider it the ultimate version of the toy. Looking back at the suit the head looks too big, and the size on SOC makes him look more like a giant. Congrats to those that have already gotten it ( I'm so jealous!) and soon I'll be joining in the fun.

So depending on where you are located or your account status maybe??, they are slowly switch your payment over to this Gointerplay thing. This is from their terms and conditions , updated 04-13-2017. support.hlj.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005446448-GoInterpay-Payment-Processing-ProviderI'm just worrying that they might force the Gointerplay exchange rate on everyone soon. By the way "S_Gokin", are you located in the USA? I see people in other countries getting this Gointerplay thing too.
