Got the Megazord in yesterday and I love it! So fun to just switch between the different modes. He's not as tall or hefty as Voltron, but it is still heavy and large! This is the combining sentai toy I've always wanted. While shooting these photos I had the MMPR theme song on a loop and I don't care who I may have pissed off. The hobo! Now you know the secret! I cannot let you leave this forum. LOL!! Great pictures. It looks like you had a lot of fun moleman. Go Go Power Rangers!!! Thanks! I had a blast playing with the toy for most of the afternoon yesterday. man every time i enter this thread the theme song plays automatically in my mind lol that some really cool photos man nice job ! Thanks! That theme is crazy catchy to this day.

One thing to clear up is that instead of a sleeve, it's a totally separate box for the overseas edition. It was confirmed in a eBay listing where the seller got a early edition from Bluefin distribution store in NYC Tamashi event.

And I bet just like with the sh figuarts rangers, the mmpr packaging will fetch higher prices than the Japanese box.

And just to throw it out there, the japanese zyurangers figuarts came with more accessories than the western mmpr counterparts.

My curiosity won despite not being a big fan of power rangers, and I got this. The design grew on me as I've been looking at pics the past months and as I was messing around with mine. I like it a lot!!
Having said that, Bandai gave Golion/Voltron a lot of love compared to this release. It's nice and high quality but not quite on the same league as the golion release. Golion is a lot tighter with very little play in the joints, while megazord has a lot more play and joints seems less sturdy. The sculpt seems more detail on golion but it could be the design of the character (card board robot). Golion has fantastic ankle tilt that's not found on megazord. The fake wheels and treads and the loose hold on the mammoth shield doesn't help. Some of the connections seems fragile but nevertheless sturdy enough. Again this isn't really a knock on megazord it's just that Voltron is that good. They look good together.
While Bandai could have skimped and just use plastic shoulders on the megazord, they impressed me by painting the shoulder graphics on a metal plate and attaching that to the shoulder instead.
One thing I really love about this release is that nothing is left in the box. No redundant parts!

Good feedback..still waiting for my mine to arrive..I guess soc voltron has raised the bar in terms of standards, sturdiness and engineering

One thing I really love about this release is that nothing is left in the box. No redundant parts! Agreed with most of your points. However, are you saying Megazord has zero ankle tilts because it is there in the center block of the ankle to move side to side. I think the only fragile spot on the toy is the clips for the mammoth head being oddly thin. So far no breakages or stress marks (knocks on wood). The metal plates on the shoulders and chest did surprise me and I thought it was a really interesting use of diecast. It's weird I want more accessories, but at the same time it feels really good to not have to keep track of all the loose bits. I love how self-contained this release is.
