One thing to clear up is that instead of a sleeve, it's a totally separate box for the overseas edition. It was confirmed in a eBay listing where the seller got a early edition from Bluefin distribution store in NYC Tamashi event. Thanks! I was looking for some info about this. Thanks for posting this to clear things up. Gold You're Welcome Gold Here's more proof that it's a different box and not a sleeve. This YouTube reviewer is probably the most famous Power Ranger Collector I've seen on YouTube. Lots of good comparisons in this video. Personally, a sleeve type box like Voltron offers the best option. Different boxes, die hard collectors are going to double dip just for the different packaging.

So I have been playing with this beast for the whole weekend and man - Bandai didn't dissapoint! For me, Voltron would still be the king, the wow factor is still there but not as good as when I opened up Voltron! (still hype though) He is much more significantly lighter compared to Voltron as well. I wish it has doubled jointed elbows as well but can live with that. I wish that the head can look up as well. Anyway moving on from the nitpicks and comparisons, this is a really good gokin! Definitely a recommended gokin! The transformation is true to the show as with alot of the SOC line is focused on the transformation ala Gaogaigar. You can get some dynamic poses, solid and heavy piece. Just recently re-bought a MP Soundwave and man alot of paint issues on my one, kinda lousy job at QC - the SOC line is top notch and the QC for this things are incredible. Gives you the feeling that when you buy a SOC figure its a premium figure. Thank you Bandai for creating such a wonderful piece - the Definitive Megazord! This is much appreciated! Go Go Power Rangers indeed!

You guys seen the death battle between these two? Definately. It was really cool! The Megazord was bigger than expected. And, it put up a good fight. But, I knew how it would end.

Go Go Power Rangers! I finally have him in my hands and took some pics yesterday and will write a quick review about him. The package is different from what we usually get as it's to my knowledge the first ever vertical box made for an SOC figure. Looks pretty cool though. Pros - Paint application is spot on and all the colors look authentic and true the source material. - Transformation is pretty easy from separate zords into tank mode to Megazord mode. - Size looks pretty awesome..only slightly smaller than SOC Voltron. - Beautiful box and simple packaging. Cons - Only comes with one set of hands. - Diecast content is obviously low compared to Voltron and other releases of the same size. - Articulation is very limited especially the legs. - Treads on Triceratops and Wheels on Sabretooth don't actually move. Would have been cooler if they did. - Does not come with a base/stand which is standard for a SOC releases. Overall score for this one: 8/10.

Great pics Kumastyle and GTMQ8! Kind of surprised to hear they didn't include any stands with the Daizyujin. That's a shame. Gold
