Eknightmedia just billed me for mine. Hopefully my opinion changes on this guy once I have it in hand.

My Megazord Has Arrived!
I think I'm the first to get mine from an American Vendor. I gave www.supremecollector.com a try, and I'm very pleased. I preordered and got it for $274.88 with free FedEx shipping. It was nicely packed in a heavy box. It was first surrounded by a layer of tissue paper. Then, bubble wrap was neatly taped around it. A layer of crinkled paper was added as a shock absorber. It was nice and tight.
Brandon, the proprietor even included 2 pieces of candy. I'll give these to my Son after school, during the unboxing.
The box arrived in mint condition! After receiving a dented GX-71 package from the BBTS, I'm glad I gave the Supreme Collector a chance.

Congrats Coletron! I never heard of SC but you and another collector told me his good service. I'll have to give them a try. I already got billed by BBTS so Megazord is ready to ship.

Congrats Coletron! I never heard of SC but you and another collector told me his good service. I'll have to give them a try. I already got billed by BBTS so Megazord is ready to ship. The service is excellent. The owner responds to emails and ships right away. He seams to get Bandai stock first, too. I'd preordered Mazinger ZERO from the BBTS. The BBTS still has it up for PO, but the Supreme Collector has it in stock. I cancelled with the BBTS and bought it from the Supreme Collector. I always bought gokins from the BBTS. But their prices aren't the best. And, I'm kinda pissed after getting a dented GX-71 box from them. Voltron is my favorite and I wanted perfection. I complained and sent a picture. But he didn't care. So, I've gone elsewhere.

I think I prefer the Japanese box more. lol but I'm probably the minority here. The box is actually quite striking in person. You can't appreciate the shiny gold stripes from the photo. I'm glad I waited for the non-japanese version.

Congrats Coletron!!
I thought that Supreme Collector was one of the admins here who just purchased another store. I could be wrong but I was certain that I've seen a message here on the board about the person.
I'll use to now. Thanks for letting us see the packaging job. It looks solid.

I think I prefer the Japanese box more. lol but I'm probably the minority here. I like the American boxart more as a desktop/phone background sort of image, but the Daizyujin boxart definitely feels more "premium".

Hi guys. I have a question about HLJ's Fedex international economy shipping method. I ordered gx-72, vf-31f and forminia ex nu gundam from HLJ for a total of 65000 yen. I was told I only need to pay tax on the 65000 yen if I have a fedex account (no duty. no advanced fee if I have a fedex account). All I need to do is to call fedex and let them know my account number after receiving the tracking number to waive the advanced fee. So I called Fedex to add my account number after HLJ shipped my package. To my surprise the fedex rep I talked to told me there is no duty/tax/advanced fee on this package, so I didn't need to add my account number to waive any fees. At that time I was thinking the tax may not show up yet and Fedex will send me a letter of invoice once the tax shows up. Now my package has arrived for 2 weeks. I still have not received any letter from fedex. Is it normal? Should I call Fedex to confirm? I'm just afraid Fedex forgot to send me the invoice and may put me into collection. PS, forgot to mention I'm in Canada. Just want to follow up for my own post. I called Fedex today and confirmed that there is no fee on this 65000 yen package sent using Fedex international economy. That's right, no tax, no duty and no advanced fee. I paid 5870 yen for shipping and that's it. Last time I used HLJ's EMS for gx-71 + mb blue frame and was charged tax + handling fees. So for the fellow Canadian collectors, you can try HLJ's Fedex economy next time, that is a higher chance you do not need to pay any tax/duty/advanced fee.

I think I prefer the Japanese box more. lol but I'm probably the minority here. I don't think you are in the minority in this forum. Cause majority of the collectors here prefer the Japanese/Original version. I prefer the Japanese box over the Megazord one cause the Japanese box homages the original Japanese Daizyukin toy and just looks better. The gold foil Stamping of the Chinese Characters of 大獸神 is awesome looking. Anyway, I'm not much of a Power Rangers guy so I'm skipping this. $300 is too much for something that I don't care much for. I would rather put the money towards Gundams (MB Wing Zero Custom) and Transformers (MP SunStreaker).

hello guys, i FINALLY got mine, and the box is really huge, i thought it will be smaller because there isn't much inside it
first thoughts they didnt gave it half the love they gave Golion, but still its the best Daizujin you can get
i have couple of questions
first, mine cant stand right what im doing wrong ?
second, the joint is very stiff and i dont want to break anything, so whats the safest way to bend the knees ?

S_Gokin - A few pointers on the legs: The knee has 2 joints - 1 that the metal connector on the Tyranozord plugs into (this has limited range of motion), and a second one that allows a deeper bend. On mine, the joints were a little stiff at first. But they became pliable quickly. They don't seem particularly fragile - in fact they are quite sturdy. I don't think you'll have a problem if you slowly break them in. For Daiziujin to stand, make sure the pegs are inserted all the way. I may sound like Mr. Obvious here. But, at first my Saber Tooth Cat went in with ease. The Triceritops took a little effort. I didn't realize that it wasn't completely in initially. It took an extra push. The upper leg slides in and out where it attaches to the hip. To get a straight A-Frame stance push outward from the top of the inner thigh. Hopefully that helps you strike some killer poses for your photo shoot. I can't wait to see what you come up with! I got to spend a little time with the GX-72 last night. It's really excellent. Comparisons to Voltron are inevitable - they've been happening in the US since Power Rangers season 1. The original GoLion/Voltron is Bandai's biggest selling gokin of all time. To me, it's design is a magical thing of wonder. That shouldn't take away from Daiziujin. S_Gokin is right. This is the best Megazord by a landslide. My Son has the Legacy, and the GX-72 is 1000% better on all levels. I'm sure everyone here who has ever bought a SOC knows this. But, in person the comparison is completely stark. The GX-72 is so far beyond anything Power Rangers fans have ever seen. That's exciting - because to them, THIS robot is a magical thing of wonder. This will blow them away and leave them wanting more. This is a great release from Bandai, and a smart way to increase their American fanbase. And as someone who is already on board, I can't wait for more SOC Power Rangers/Super Sentai releases.

Coltron props for calling the Sabertooth a cat not a tiger lol. Biologically they weren't even closely related to tigers.
And I want second your point regarding the Daizyujin being a new standard for pr fans. We haven't seen a megazord like this and should the SOC decide to produce more pr related items, they will find a receptive market. Then again pr fans can be extremely petty so it might be a headache dealing with them.

not at all bro any tiny info no matter how obvious its helps, you owned the figure more than me so you must know more about it, in order to understand it more i played with the tyrannosaurus to get a better idea what im doing, and you were right my the peg didn't goes all the way into the Saber tooth, it became more steady after that the Triceratops head is giving me a hard time to pose it right, but im getting the figure better now thank you for the info and for the encouragement, i will try my best with it

As long as Bandai keeps the quality level this high, everyone will be happy.

As long as Bandai keeps the quality level this high, everyone will be happy. I hope so but I've already seen pr fans complain they're not interested in the SOC for minor things like head size is not big enough, or that it doesn't articulate exactly as the src for instance. This boggles my mind because not only is SOC highly posable it does things the src can't do. I guess there's all kind of perspectives out there but to put petty reasons for not getting this ultimate Daizyujin is baffling. I can see economic reasons being a huge block, but I've seen some very dumb excuses out there to justify passing this definitive tribute.

Personally, I was let down with GX-72 Daizyujin. I find it a bit of a floppy mess. I don't like the tiny clips on the mastadon head or pterodactyl. I don't like how the treads on the triceratops do not lock in/out. The wrists are floppy and the hands can not support the sword or shield that well. It just feels rushed and not worth the price IMO.
I think the original 93 version is still the best to date.
