It worked out for me. I was on the fence on this one, but it was so cheap on Amazon I thought I had to buy it. š¤š¤·āāļøš

Yeah I saw listed at that $171. Couldn't believe how discounted it was and how this didnt sell well compared to Voltron. You would think it would have sold out. I see this on on resell on eBay like regularly too. I was going to buy this later but admit I thought it would sell out like Voltron earlier this year.

That's a great price! I hope you all enjoy it. It's a fun SOC. Just keep in mind yes he has ankle joints both forward and back and side to side, lots of folks seem to miss that. And unplug the tail to use the waist joint. Oh and make sure to use both knee joints in combined mode, some folks only bend the one joint that clicks on the t-rex and don't make use of the friction joint that gives you the most range. Hope this helps.

Yeah, Iām glad I bought two Voltrons when the first came out. I can display the lions š¦ and Voltron both at the same time. Itās my favorite SoC to-date.

Same here I have two Voltron displayed same way. I thought about it doing same with Megazords since it's cheap and I was like naaaaah.

Oh Nice! $171 for that price - well worth it!
I wonder if Megazord will now be sought after now that Dragonzord/Dragon Caesar got announced...hmmm.

Bbts has this guy on preorder(normal price) for March release. Not to go off topic but I'm hoping gx-71 is next in line.

And it will be around the time when Fantasy Jewel releases their Black Lion. Nobody is going to want those if/when Bandai reissues GX-71.

So I sold the first one of these I got. I just got one again that I ordered from Amazon Japan. I've noticed a change on the (non MMPR) box. The Bandai label is blue and there is a Tamashii Nations quality sticker on it.
In other news I think it's been 8 years since I posted last lol

I would like an answer to this question real quick, please.
Does anyone have both releases of the GX-72 and does the Reissue have tighter shoulder ratchets?
I would like to know in case I have missed out a bit.

general rule if it doesn't have an R or a completely new number then its an exact reissue

This is one of my favorite SOC figures ever. It is one of the most underrated SOC. The shortcomings of this figure are simply overstated. I never get the complaint about the shoulders. I have 2 of these (regular and black repaint), both have tight shoulders. Iāve seen people pass this up and buy the legacy Megazord new for over $300. Thatās insane. I think if you pass this up you will regret it later as the price increases on secondary market. This is unlikely to get another release as Hasbro now owns power rangers. If you didnāt buy this figure because you didnāt want to pay $300 and you keep comparing this to SOC Voltron (big mistake) you will regret not picking it up now. Itās only $230. It is a gorgeous figure. It also has my favorite box art for an SOC. Old school art of the Megazord. tfsource.com/mighty-morphin-powers-soul-of-chogokin-gx-72-rangers-megazord/

My issues were: - Forearms that dont lock - Hands that dont grip the accessories well - Lack of fixed posed hands - Weak knee combining mechanism - Weak hip joints - No head tilt - Limited articulation, but I can forgive this one since most SOC's are kind of limited in this department. I've never thought of parting with it because it is the best combining Megazord on the market, but the bar isnt very high with Megazord toys IMO. For $230 i think its a good deal, i would definitely feel better with that than with the $280 I paid

I got the Sentai cover box version brand new for $230 shipped brand new from Amazon Japan. My biggest issues are with the hip joints but surprisingly the arm/elbow joints are tight. I hope this gets a "R" release because you'll pay less for this than the Legacy version. I saw a few people pay $250 for the Legacy version and even more for the Super Mini-Pla
