Emperor and Zero look really nice in those pics, looking forward on getting them. hmm should we make a thread for SRC shin mazinger zero? or should we add it the thread of SRC/SoC that may or may not see the light of day? well its official both are pass for me lol its just that they over do both of them, specially Mazin Emperor im a bit confuse, what do you mean they over did them both, specially mazin emperor? i mean for me they look fine, pretty much following the guidelines of Mazinkaiser, in fact Zero looks a bit closer to kaiser to a certain degree. However for emperor he looks like kaiser but less lower on certain details aspect to it and a little bit closer to a standard mazinger sort of speak. Granted of course that emperor has a cape but then again kaiser had bat wings(specially the gigantic one from the ova which is a bit to much for me). |

Granted of course that emperor has a cape but then again kaiser had bat wings(specially the gigantic one from the ova which is a bit to much for me). allow me to explain my friend  what i meant was who ever design both of the figure simply over did it, for Mazin Emperor its just .... i honestly dont know how to describe it but if you look to it you will notice they give him this mix look, the Great Boomerang have an extra fin on both side, four horns, huge shoulder which remind me of Shin Getter 1, a really weird looking cape, the feet design looks like hes wearing sandals and lastly he have eye balls, the design is just way to busy for me, it gives me the feeling that they build it from Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter 1 parts, not an upgraded version of Great Mazinger as for Zero its also have a busy design, from the breast fire plates that looks like giraffe to the weird looking limbs, what is extra off for me is the head design & the iron cutter design but again this just me im sure the other guys love it its just not my cup of tea |

I really like the body design except for the head. Looks too much like Mazinkaiser...and I really...really hate Mazinkaiser.

I was gonna post the same thing before I saw you already did. This SRC is friggin' HUUGE! Else, the SOC GX-70 is really quite tiny...  GX-70 is quoted at 170mm which is the same as GX-01R. The larger SRC bots are all about that same size. Mazinkaiser, SKL, Shin Getter 1 and Zeorymer all falling at about that size. The SRC Mazinkaisers are all almost dead on the same size as GX-01. They just represent robots that should be 30% larger than Mazinger Z. |

I liked him when he was first introduced in the SRW games way back in SRW F-Final. I was very excited about the OVA where we finally get to see Mazinkaiser animated. As most of you know, that Anime really sucked...and Go Nagai refused to allow Banpresto to put Mazinkaiser AND Grendizer in the same game because he didn't want their power to be compared or something along those lines. This is why I have never owned a single Mazinkaiser figure...ever. Emperor has that nice multi-part cloak/cape going for him and I like that he has eye balls like Shin Getter...but other than that not really much else. They could have made something better but I guess Go Nagai is fine with it. Same goes for Grendizer GIGA...I mean the moving horns? and that dumb cockpit/mouth? ugh.. |

you know who can take them all on, steal their lunch money and get Aphrodite A bigger breasts missiles this guy  im also up for new characters and new designs, its just that with emperor i dont feel they worked hard enough on it as for zero i noticed there is two designs in the Manga, the slick one (fewture one)  and the extra detailed one  and clearly Bandai went with the 2nd design, its dead accurate dont get me wrong its just that i personally prefers the 1st design who knows maybe when they release the official photos it will look better lol |

That's what seems to be a popular beliefs, but it's none sense. Grendizer had always been on par with Great Mazinger in SRW games. It's usual that GM has higher overall stats, while Grendy makes up with its Spazer combining 2 pilot system. Mazinkaiser on the other hand, had always outclassed Great Mazinger by huge margin, so it's pretty obvious that which robot is stronger in SRW universe without having to have them in a same game to compare them side by side. So why no show for both robots in SRW games? There're 2 main reasons. First, when they did SRW F Final which was essentially a remake of 4th SRW, they cut all the robots with duplicate voice actor (Reideen, Daimos) and robots that had become impossible to cast the original voice actor either because they're deceased (Grendizer) or can't act the same voice anymore (Zanbot 3) In later SRW games, these robots do make come backs with new voice actors, but by then, Mazinkaiser OVA had come along which just doesn't mix with the Toei series. (different art design, different story etc) Also for the regular casts such as Mazinger, Banpresto had to use different versions in rotation to keep things fresh. The same thing applies to Getter robo where they feature different Getters in rotation. So, it's got nothing to do with Dynamic Pro trying to avoid Grendizer go head to head with Mazinkaiser. In fact, there's a card game called Dynamic Crusade where Mazinkaiser is much more powerful than Grendizer, and as usualy Grendizer is on par with Great Mazinger. However, I do believe that Dynamic Pro is now well aware of the fact that there're Grendizer fan base that are not comfortable with Mazinkaiser being superior, so they're not trying to be clear about it when questioned. I think that's why Grendizer was blatantly censored in Shin Mazinger Zero comics because they don't want one of their biggest cash cow getting decimated by Mazinger Zero. I also think that's why we get Mazin Emperor G instead of Great Mazinkaiser in upcoming SRW game because they don't want their another cash cow to get defeated by Mazinger Zero once again lol. But all in all, the power balance is clear. It's Mazinger Z < Great Mazinger < Grendizer < Mazinkaiser < Mazinger Zero. And I expect this new Mazin Emepror G to be at least on par with Mazinger Zero for obvious reason.  I think all what you said is true except for mazinkaiser is superior to grendizer ! the reason why they don't exist both in one srw game is because they don't exist in the same universe , simple ! whenever grendizer is there he is the superior and whenever mazinkaiser is there he is the superior . now Great emperor and mazinger Zero those are different story. that Card game by Bandai doesn't mean anything official. it was done by young artists who know nothing about the history of the classical old series and the fan base. they see bunch of characters with mazinkaiser , shin getter robo and mazinkaiser skl been the newest so , they must be the strongest ! simple. |

-So basically if he's "more" powerful than Grendizer...then I have to like him? They made a crappy OVA for him...which took a few years to end, to push him down our throats..Go Nagai sucks when it comes to storytelling. Add to that I never liked the design ...simply put..it isn't that appealing to me, especially that gigantic head of his. Grendizer will always be superior in many more validating terms than what what the stats in the game say. Shin Mazinger + Zero are also the same to me. I don't really care about them nor do I "have" to like them. So yeah don't take it personally. It's not like not buying Mazinkaiser merchindise will affect you in any way, shape or form.

Same goes for Grendizer GIGA...I mean the moving horns? and that dumb cockpit/mouth? ugh.. actually bandainamco (owners of banpresto)did finally put Mazinkaiser and Grendizer together at last in the Super Robot Wars Cross Omega finally putting those false rumors and accusations to rest. A youtuber by the name D180223 is playing the game as well some other of the srw games like the moon dwellers which got recently release. he was able to answers some of the questions including mine, he said that Kaiser stats are higher compare to Grendizer but only slightly. Howerver in terms of skills Grendizer are offensive boosting while Mazinkaiser skills are defensive boosting. It could have gone either way in terms of skills, but in the end Kaiser has slightly higher stats compare to Grendizer's stats. Still everyone is waiting to see Shin Getter to be added in the game and the trio will be finally complete. but now the new rumor that is starting is that because of Grendizer and Mazinkaiser are in the same game Shin Getter can't be added because of bs conflict, i mean seriously wtf fans?!? again with this crap?!? people are very insecure. cool, thanks for the info i honestly stopped reading the manga long ago so im not sure what happened in the end to sum it up how it ended, crossover in the strangest way which tbh is pretty awesome. |

Zero fist him because of what he does in the manga, however the strangest version of his scrander would be when he got possess by Emperor Darkness/Dr. Hell which it ends having a scrander in the form of fire( or what some would call it the hell scrander). |

I always get the feeling that some of the Grendizer fans are just butt hurt about the existence of Mazinkaiser especially those from the Middle East area. I kinda get it because to them, since they had no knowledge about Mazinger, Kouji Kabuto is just a mere side kick like what Robin is to the Batman lol. So, when they find out that this Robin is actually more capable with fancier vehicles & gadgets, and more popular too, they'd feel that it's just all wrong No, I'm not telling you to like Mazinkaiser or anything. Why would I? You can like whatever you'd like, but it's just funny to see how some Grendizer fans would come to Mazinkaiser thread and had to express their feelings about the character. If you despise it so much, why even bother? BTW, I'm not a fan of Mazinkaiser, and I think this new Mazin Emperor G is sh*tty just like any other Dynamic Pro's latest creations. (though I had to give credit to Bandai for turning something sh*tty to gold lol) In fact, I'm a Great Mazinger fan and I do think he can kick Grendy's ass anyday lol. BTW, I absolutely love Grendizer too Sorry to burst your bubble but I did know about Mazinger-Z and Kouji since I was 8 years old. Sure I knew Grendizer first but I don't hate Kouji I hate Mazinkaiser. If you would check my posts and Instagram you will see I collect Mazinger and Great Mazinger toys. So yeah just clearning that up for you. Turns out you don't know everything. |
