i see they took couple of DC gimmicks and put it in this release
the stand, the eyes gimmick
i really like how this SOC turn out every thing about it is good, when we can preorder

Yep, a lot of negativity on this SoC which surprises me as I think it looks awesome. Will pre-order it right when it's available. I detested the looks of the Sentinel model, I respect that it's a great figure and love Sentinel's latest efforts but that was just no MazinKaiser to me, this SoC is MazinKaiser.

People had waited long for that definitive version of Mazinkaiser gokin which Aoshima never was, and this SOC release was our best chance. Some of you maybe wanna go easy on it and tell yourself that this is enough, because you have no other choice, but really, this Mazinkizer is far from what many of us had anticipated for past 15 years. At this point I can only pray that Bandai'd do the DX SOC version. Amen dx mazin would be dream come true |

I detested the looks of the Sentinel model, I respect that it's a great figure and love Sentinel's latest efforts but that was just no MazinKaiser to me, this SoC is MazinKaiser. couldn't agree more, you know back in the days when i started collecting the modern gokins i used to watch reviews and listen to people feedback about a figure before buying, but now i guess i developed my own idea about what i want and i want this "Mazinkizer"  regardless what others may think about it, for me it just looks awesome, accurate and the sculpt is great, the articulation from the photos is good cant complain, and i guess the figure can do even more, honestly i dont like how companies pose their figures  my ultimate Mazinkaiser is the Max Factory version but i guess the SOC will take its crown  |

Look, they call this MazinTrump and I'd still buy it.
Okay, maybe not...but, I'm sure Bandai will address that? Looks good to me. Probably the best-looking version since Max Factory's iteration.

Not sure how I feel about the Kaiser. Feels like I'm going to have to pay $200 for a oversized SRC. The completist in me is going to get it regardless, But the SOC fanboy in me feels like it needs more gimmicks to convince me it's worth the trouble.

for me this SOC is light years better than the SRC, the SRC is skinny and the neck look very weird while the face isn't the best also it have this very annoying way to change fists the gold ring always fall off

Let me say this, my decades old SOC Black OX kneel better then this "yet tobe release SOC that cost over twice as much."
The Black Ox, as ugly as it is (admittedly, they really messed up its proportion), it has super silky rachet joints, it has lot more diecast and more cool magnet gimmicks then this offering.
I mean look at the ugly hinges on its wings...the horrible knee joints
Thats acceptable? Thats 80s Microman engineering. Gallons of Metal Build gold plating aint going to fix that Bandai...
Who is responsible for this?
It cant be the same guy who did Voltron or upcoming Daiziujin SOC.
If Bandai loves me, this needs to be sent back and reengineer the wing, the knee and elbow joints, and resculpt the forarms.

Believe me when i say i stay quiet on toys that i have no interest in.
I mums the word on MPs, vinyls and such.
Im just miffed because this is so darn close to perfection, its annoying that Bandai couldnt take better care.
Like Taurus said, how do they mispell Kaiser? Why couldnt Bandais manager get a better handle on it? No? But thats his job!
He gets paid to do his job..if not, why is he even there?
I dont give a flying damn about gigantic wings for flying pose that i might use once, i rather have more source accurate robot with cutting edge toy engineering..Sentinel engineering.
Ones that deserve the SOC moniker.
