Those pictures are so big that they don't even fit on the screen. one is a giant shoulder and the other is a giant forearm and fist. Even for people using 4k monitors and the like, it's absurd to have low resolution pictures at these large widths and heights.
I'm not trying to be a negative nelly, because I appreciate the pictures and sharing, but just a general statement because it defeats the purpose if they're so big that only a literal limb shows.

Good point Kuma. Is there a way to post imgur images in high res but not take up the whole screen? I've done large thumbnails before (just need to add a "l" before the .jpg) but the resolution is crap. I'll adjust the images above to large thumbnails.
By the way, I use tapatalk to access the forum via mobile devices, and don't have the same issue. This issue is only prominent when accessing using browser.
Second by the way, the zoom-out function will help with images that take up the whole room. It's a little annoying since you can't read the text once zoomed out but not every one is tech savy when it comes to posting images the right way. In fact, the difficulty in sharing images is in fact stopping a lot of people from posting/sharing.

KumaSyle, If you are in Chrome, right click the picture and then select "Open image in new tab." That's what I do with these giant pictures. Locidm, You can add this to your image posting: height="400" The 400 can be any number. You just try different numbers (500,600,800) until you get the size you want. For example: img height="400" src="https://i.imgur.com/YpdYArZl.jpg"

Ah, great tip, thanks Robo, that was very helpful! I wish there is a way to always post pics the same sizes though. I think the resolution is lost though once you do this.

You are welcome! What do you mean always post pics the same sizes? Some forums automatically resize your pictures to a preset size. This forum apparently doesn't. Is that what you mean?
If your original photo format is something like BMP, TIFF, or some other image format without compression, then you can resize it in that format first and then save it as JPG or PNG and you won't lose nearly as much resolution. I'm not an expert so other members here probably know many more and much better ways to accomplish this.

Robo, if the forum automatically resizes our images, it would be the best! I was hoping either imgur or RJ would have a user preset default to have images automatically resized. The next best thing, for imgur users only, is the following: You can add a "l" before the .jpg to scale the image to large thumbnail at 640x640 (found it somewhere else previously). I just realized after stumbling this page linked below that by adding "h" instead it'll post as huge thumbnail to 1024x1024. This is actually much easier than specifying the height manually but less flexible. Other sizes also available. This advantage is that it only requires typing in one extra letter after pasting the image link from imgur. I post images using my phone exclusively so this is very convenient in the absence of a default setting. Thumbnail Suffix Thumbnail Name Thumbnail Size Keeps Image Proportions s Small Square 90x90 No b Big Square 160x160 No t Small Thumbnail 160x160 Yes m Medium Thumbnail 320x320 Yes l Large Thumbnail 640x640 Yes h Huge Thumbnail 1024x1024 Yes bitmapcake.blogspot.com/2015/05/imgur-image-sizes-and-thumbnails.htmlapi.imgur.com/models/imageAnd here I am derailing the thread! Sorry. Back to GX-75!

Locidm,
Great information! I don't use imgur, but many of our members do. So I'm sure they will benefit from this.

Unfortunately the Imgur mobile app as far as I know don't provide that option, and I post from my phone using the app exclusively. So the adding in suffix option is the easiest for me.

I am not a fan of posting photos to this board. I wish it was easier to do. I can do it but then my brain forgets! LOL

Thanks LOCIDM. Nice pics, man!
And in regards to zooming out, opening images in a new tab, etc... that's all a bit inconvenient when the images can just be sized to a decent width in the first place. Even camera phones and whatnot have settings that let you select the output size so that you don't even have to be bothered with anything after the pic is taken.

Every member here is a contributor.. to each on his own. hehe..if anyone who needs to complain of not getting enough attention or even likes here,, is Gold. Man... imagine the effort he puts on his reviews.,, not just photos. Indeed! I've got nothing on him when it comes to his superbly detailed reviews. I just take a few glamour shots and talk briefly about what I liked and didn't like. As far as forum reviews go, Gold makes the best ones.

Let's right this ship with some pictures! Nice poses bro. I think I need a reshoot for Mazinkaiser using a better background. I have white fabric but it looks out grey because I only have two flashes when shooting figures.

I think this piece is very interesting. He looks good behind glass but every time I take it out I get wowed again about how nice it looks. To me in pictures or even when behind glass it takes away the awesomeness this guy has in three dimensions.

Most of them are perfect. But most of them are very fragile, so most of us who touch it might break it if not careful!

It's really easy to be pushing on the plates while installing the wings. So my guess is those who broke it during handling didn't even realize they pressed on it and broke it until they moved the plates afterwards and it snaps off. Then of course the complaint would then be the plates broke without touching.

I ordered one from Nippon Yassan on the September 22nd and they STILL have not shipped it out. I have spoken with customer support and filed two claim tickets asking what's going on. If this is the typical way they operate then this will be the first and last time I will buy from them.
