If you ever wondered why all the broken Mazinkaisers were coming from China but not Japan: In argentina it's no different. I work with correo argentino in my store and know the employees they've told me that in the central they kick parcels literally from one side to another of the room just to classify them...

Looks like I'm joining the broken chest club. Bought a second kaiser off ebay, plate snapped right off Sorry to hear about it! I have 2 painted Fire Blasters made by NinjaHandZ with metal pins, I don't think I will use 'em since I permanently fixed mine on Kaiser's chest! If you are interested, send me a message and I will let you know how much did I pay for 'em so you'd buy 'em if you want.

TIA for any info In the case of the kaiser I just got broken, the plate was hanging by a thread when I got it out of box. Popped off putting it away. My first kaiser was ok but the paint was sloppy which is why I bought the second. The plates on the first one haven't broken, so honestly I think if yours don't come broken you're probably good to go. Bandai should've packaged them separately for shipping.

I was thinking of getting the same metal pins though and attaching them to the broken parts. Only issue is how do I remove the pin section from the old one without destroying them, and what's the best adhesive to use

Gold, did you try fitting the pose stand peg into Mazinkaiser's back? Because I tried and I just couldn't freakin' do it, the connection is way too d**n tight and I can't exert any more force into it without pressing down on the chest plates so I can't even get a good grip to try forcing it in. I can’t get the peg to go in either. I really want to use the support arm too. Bummer

To update my situation, I emailed bluefin tamashii and should be getting replacement chestplates.
I don't know if that means just the parts or another possibly broken but brand new kaiser like they've done with me for myth cloth, but I'd prefer unbroken chestplates. Either way I'm still going to replace the broken pins with the metal ones as a backup set

So , guys ... this is a great mazinkaiser to own. It is not perfect. ?. But it is Damn close. Since I bought it and while I was waiting for my shipment I saw all the reviews about the broken chest plates and that made me worry so much. I got mine in perfect shape even though the box suffered a huge hit in shipping but the figure was perfect. From that day it is standing next to my laptop on my desk and I keep playing with it with no worries. It even survived a number of shelf dives!
I have some complaint or nit picks to be more accurate. I wished it was more anime accurate when it comes to it's body, and I wish it had metal pelvis because as I am playing with it I find my self putting a good pressure on his growing area, and wished if his lower legs were all metal instead of the metal plastic combination we got.
This kaiser have the best head sculpt hands down.

I don't know if that means just the parts or another possibly broken but brand new kaiser like they've done with me for myth cloth, but I'd prefer unbroken chestplates. Either way I'm still going to replace the broken pins with the metal ones as a backup set So update. After waiting 7 weeks for a reply from bluefin, they sent me two emails. The first was the same as this but replace all text about kaiser with Spiderman Hello Rene, Thank you again for your email, and please disregard the previous email regarding a Spider-Man figure. I regret to inform you that we will be unable to provide you with a replacement for your Soul of Chogokin Mazinkaiser GX-75 figure due to Bandai Tamashii physically no longer having the item in stock. Because our company only serves as the distributor and not the manufacturer, there is no guarantee that we will be able to obtain a replacement at the customer’s request. We do apologize for both the inconvenience and long wait for an update, and we do hope that you are able to find a suitable solution. Thank you, Filmore McLaurin Bluefin Customer Service So for anyone relying on bluefin, you're now officially SOL. if your seller directs you to them, immediately file a claim, because otherwise you're liable to get screwed unless your seller has some honor. So I bought a third kaiser off Amazon and somehow the seller accepted my return for the second kaiser. When I got the third kaiser, the chest plate fell right off. I nearly had a heart attack, until I noticed the little balljoint the plate was connected to was side ways. The plate wasn't plugged in, so it came undamaged and perfect. So with the exception of a tiny bit of chipped paint on the side or the head, I now have a perfect kaiser. It only took 3 purchases of the damn thing. Ultimately, unless you're willing to play Russian roulette with $200+, I'd recommend either skipping kaiser, or buying used and requesting the seller remove the chest plates before shipping.

Considering they're, apparently, on a simple friction pin anyway...why didn't they just come unassembled in the box? The chest plates for every other Mazinger - hell, even other versions of Mazinkaiser - had the chest wings come separate, didn't they?
