I'll never get tired of your classy youtube reviews, GGG. Don't ever stop. The end cap of the tomahawk falls off like theres no tomorrow...you ARE going to loose it if not careful. The front chest piece IS bit temperamental(?) as If you push the head too forward will give out and dislodge (it doesnt fall off, but cracks open upward)...maybe its intentional. Those statements are very different from my own experience. You guys are especially making me afraid to ever swap the chest out on mine, lest I break whatever magic has given it such a firm hold. He is GORGEOUS. The best original Getter sculpt, true to the source. Perfect in my book. None of the BS western superhero proportion here. The color is a beautiful shade of greyish blue tinted offwhite where all the white would be...i love it. Yes. Yes! Couldn't agree more. No noticeable toxic PVC..i mean, where are they? Its listed on the material but i dont see or feel any. Not on the hands, tomahawks, ships, effect parts, NOTHING!! They are feel like hard quality ABS... Maybe the hands? The hands are totally PVC. But a nice, firm, odorless PVC. The kind of PVC that -- I'll say this again in the hopes that Bandai is paying attention -- would make me buy GX-52 again. That Armageddon style Getter 1 was made so well, it still frustrates me that I couldn't stand to be in the same room with it. Anyhow, GX-74 Getter 1 is killer. Since Getter 1 came with the Eagle, Jaguar, and Bear, maybe they could release Getter 2 and 3 as a set? Make them exclusive, I don't care. Dynamic Classics style Getter 2 and 3 would be far too awesome to pass on. I'm also more than ready for Dynamic Classics Getter Dragon. Bring it on, Bandai! Don't make me wait.

S You right, i stand corrected. Now that i look at its elbow and crotch positioning on your photo, he is tiniest bit (1/8" taller then Great.) But he also has a shorter upper arm and shorter torso.... I made adjustment on my copy and YES, yes Getter IS hair taller.... i guess i just wished him even bigger. Well DaiShogun DC will dwarf all of them.

I just cant believe how much metal this thing has... Entire torso (excluding belt and removable chest piece), forarms, upper legs, lower legs, feet, and many many joints. This is a TRUE chogokin. That's almost half metal!! Yet, it balances fine, no metal slap, no paint rub, no nothing! Very well engineer to avoid all the usual diecast pitfalls!!
Off topic warning! Now There absolutely no excuse for Takaratommy not to add MORE diecast in their Masterpiece Transformer. And if TT cant do it, then yeah, give it to Bandai to make "a true Masterpiece" aSOC Optimus Prime!!! Kuma might have something there. GX-76....Optimus Prime anyone? That sounds awsome to me.

It makes me ridiculously hungry for DC versions of Getter 2 and Getter 3. It is a constant ache in my belly that I fear will never be sated. Nnnnnyyaaarrrrrrggg!

Why would you want such clearly inferior robots? Here have another Mazinger Z! This one's in a slightly different shade of blue!

the more i watch Getter robo the less i hate the GX-74 lol the more you feel that GX74 is actually show accurate my only grip with the DC line is the hip articulation ! it is a major step backward ! but the line itself is a huge step forward in terms of show accuracy !

Wow....what a difference.
Cant wait for Grendizer DC and Getter G. DC. The difference in improvement of proportion should be even bigger in comparison of GX-4.

Now if they can give Getter G a DC treatment I'd really be a happy guy. I might pick this up since I like the dc mazinger.

I couldn't find any photos so I'd ask you guys here (the experts ). Will it look good next to the gx 01r 40th anniversary and the 2016 tamashii gx02r (I don't want to buy again those two, I love them and I've limited my hobby to one version of each character). I don't have any getter robo yet... awaiting your advice
