Bandai Imagination Galleria Ghibli Laputa Robot

7500 yen, unfortunately the same size as an RD (no metal either) and  P-Bandai but it's really rare to get any high-end Ghibli action figures, so this is a first.  I wonder if they'll get to other designs in the line like dragon form Haku or maybe even Howl's castle.

Apprently, they're taking preo at Premium Bandai store.
Its due on October 2017. It has a 57 pts of articulation.
Also this is a 3rd iteration of this robot in this line....

I just now remembered many years ago Bandai released the Formania Gunship from Nausicaa.  Is it the same scale as this figure?  A reissue would be fantastic.

I have that.
Its a great piece for around $80.

What sucks is the stupid stand/base.
The base/ stand is really stupid.
I say that because it doesnt do anything! With all the articulation it has, The ship can only just sits there in one safe position because its just held by .gravity. No tab or nothing...stupid.
Also In Bandais infinite wisdom ( " /S"),Thats the only place i saw any diecast action..STUPID!!
A Complete stupid waste....
The landing gears are kinda lame too. No rolling wheels and they are all kinda fidgety.

it IS built like a tank tho. I dropped it 5 feet off hardwood floor and not a scratch, i wouldnt pay anything more then $80 that ship.

The thing the bothered me the most about that gun ship is that it didn't come with a figure to pilot it. Otherwise I would have kept my pre order back in the day.

I do recall gunship being sold from HLJ...so HLJ might carry the robot too.

Agreed with above. I was a bit disappointed this robot wasn't made in the SRC, or Hi-Metal lines. Seems like it would be a perfect fit.
