I've read an interview (they gave in italy) they said the site didn't work for them. I suppose that's because not many PO got sold out there and they are used to sold out every tamashii item everywhere else Im sure the $33 flat rate shipping has alot to do with lower sales. Big price items seems to sell out just fine because for those items, $33 for shipping is understandable and even a good deal if you combine same month releases. But if you want to get a robot spirit or just a option part, then $33 shipping for something small and light is a major deal breaker. Having more shipping options would’ve improved sales , even more so if they will allow you to combine your orders after payment, at least for same month release items. Well said... ... And that's why I ordered two Wing Zero!  |

That GN Sword addon for the 00 Seven Swords stayed in stock for a long time. But everything else flew out of stock. I would have genuinely spent $1000 more on the US store if they had the inventory. It's just really frustrating when I couldn't get an order in fast enough before they went out of stock, yet I turn around and hear that they consider if a failure because of lack of interest. |

US P-Bandai was just done wrong. Instead of establishing a small office to handle shipments to North America from, say Alaska, or somewhere on the West Coast, they were just extending P-Bandai Hong Kong to handle the inventory, which means a heavy flat $33 shipping cost. Depending on the item, it was sometimes cheaper to pay the Nippon Yasan markup and shipping, which was crazy. The other problem was the product selection was pathetic compared to Asia P-Bandai.

I don't know about other items but I wanted to PO gundam Astray red kai, but I couldn't afford it, and it was available even at the end of the closing dead line. If metal build didn't sold out they may saw it as a very bad sign. also dbz characters didn't get sold out (bought them for a friend)... I understand that shipping fee was high but I also think that not many people knew about the site.

Depends on the country - here in NZ, total value + shipping accounts to the % of the tax, yes they include cost of the shipping w/ the value of the item |

Im sad to see the US P-Bandai site fail.. its the second time that it has failed as well. Aside from the shipping charge i think their packing was pretty bad, its like they only had one box size and items came damaged. My Metal Build Avalanche Exia came in bad shape and i had a friend who got the Dash parts set completely smashed because they tried to stuff it in a box that was too small. Also the selection sucked and we couldnt combine items from the same month. Finally prepaying in full for the item was my biggest issue with them, these items are put on preorder on short notice unlike mass release figures. I only have one more item from them for March... The only one they put up for that month.

Your next one will be 0002. |

Curiously I never got a shipping confirmation email, only the one about "shipping soon". Because of you guys I went to p-bandai to check my order status and to my surprise it's already State side, estimated arrival on Tuesday via FedEx.
I'm sure the first thing that'll hit me is I paid almost $300 for a 16cm figure. Keep forgetting these non-UC MS are smaller.
