Looks like it takes patience and careful handling to transform. Obviously, a very high parts count to this figure, hence that damn price tag.

Here is a video review!
Reviewer had a lot to say about paint job and how he is not liking the white and blue. The white paint is like a pearl white and look a bit yellowish. I don't know. I think it's beautiful lol. The main big wings are connected with PB rubber, so it gets loose over time. However, he feels the zero mode (armor unhatch) are better than MB 00Q, and there are lots metal joints including the entire feet which makes it a very heavy and solid figure.

I think they purposely made the color like that to avoid yellowish - I remember that it was a problem with the first Metal Composite unicorns that got released - I personally also like the color scheme, that blue looks amazing! Damn, AE - send me my shipping invoice!

I saw that! It was still open for order when I clicked on my email link - wow, he is super duper popular! Ouch for 34,000 yen AE emailed me saying that they will receive their stock in 2 days - so I'll be expecting a shipping invoice tomorrow! I agree! I was expecting the worst being too puny since most MBs / MC are 1/100 so that is a very nice decision by Bandai - as the difference between MC Wing Zero and MG Wing zero is very noticeable. My wife is telling me to stop buying Metal Builds and other figures so that we can do some hunting when we're in Tokyo in a month or so, but I think she's overestimating how many boxes I could shove in a checked bag. |
