This below is actually a pretty cool release by Icarus. They are the sword for Voltes V as a limited edition separate accessory. GreatToysOnline shows how big the sword is in their unboxing video of the 100cm Voltes V. It is HUGE and a good size sword even scaled for a regular person. I saw on their Facebook page that they are also producing swords for God Sigma and Daltanious. Does that mean they will also be releasing 100cm figures of God Sigma and Daltanious too?

Without any warning from Icarus via any tracking means, my 40" Voltes showed up on my driveway. My mailman was like, "I know this is a toy. But WTF is it? This thing is heavy and huge!" I had to open this thing in my backyard. This thing towers over me. lol I'll try to take side by side comparison shots between the Icarus and M3 Voltes V's.

Congrats! Did they ship it in a double box? I ask because there seems to be a hole at the side that was ripped during shipping.

Congrats! Did they ship it in a double box? I ask because there seems to be a hole at the side that was ripped during shipping. Thank you! No, the box pictured was the actual shipping box. Yes, there was a hole that was ripped during shipping, but considering that Toys Republic shipped this for free and saved me an additional $350 as otherwise quoted by an authorized seller, I really can't complain. Here are some scale photos of Icarus Voltes next to M3 Voltes. 1984 G1 Optimus and 1984 Matchbox Voltron Deluxe for scale. You can see how big M3 Voltes' foot is next to Voltron. Here's also a comparison of the Tenkuken Sword sizes. Pepsi can for scale. The Icarus Tenkuken sword is literally 1:1 scale for a human being. It is not made of vinyl, but of a hard rigid plastic. You can literally kill someone with this sword. (No joke.) As you can see, the Icarus Tenkuken sword is as long as my leg.

I always considered importing a case or 10 for the U.S. UncannyX or others, do we know a good contact? I can be reached at admin @ robot-japan.com
Thanks! Ed
-Saw these, I believe, at Japan's Wonderfest. They are great!
