hi hypnotator I am not sure what they are worth but have noticed over the years that the prices have been rising, but have never given a thought really to their value. I have had them from new & my cybo-invader has always been kept in the original box which is inside a brown cardboard outer packaging box which has labelling from janet fraser catalogue & dated 18/10/1976 it was my christmas present that year. its a pity that this is the only box I have. I was pleased to see one of your postings with a picture of a cyborg box, do you think people would be interested with pictures of the cybo-invader box? I also would like more information on purchasing a repoduction box could you send me the email for your freind. thanks wizard

Hey Hypno - or anyone - I just recieved my Cyborg99 vs Walder "confrontation" set. In the e hobby website, the cyborg 99 definitely looks like he's tinted green. However the one I got is just clear, with green insides. If anyone else has this set, did I get screwed or is the figure actually just clear with green insides?Or is the figure tinted so lighly green, that I can't really see it properly? Here's the Takara photo and here's the one I have. I realize this is an atrocious photo, but that's my camera unfortunately. Hmm, he does look kind of green in this photo. Let me know what you think! Thanks

That's the way it's supposed to be. I got mine a few years ago. I kind of like the idea that Cyborgs are clear with different color insides while Walders are multi-colored on the outside.

I was hoping he'd be nice'n'green, but I think there is a very very faint green tinge to him in the end. Thanks for letting me know! Do you know if they included a green cyborg 99 in any of the DX costumes, or is this the only one?

If I am not mistaken a green interior Cyborg 99 was also included with the deluxe costume set of "Thunder Mask," who sort of resembles a green Power Ranger.

Also, the Blue Walder that came in the set, has a blue body, but his head looks like it's clear. Is yours the same? Here's a couple of photos of the head next to the blue body and then the head next to the purple head with a blue arm. The head looks clear to me, or maybe a little green. Is that normal?

Welcome, Waruderprime! You know your stuff! Yes, mine is the same, green insides and joints only. Quite often the KW heads are a different tint to the bodies, presumably because the type of plastic used is so different. I don't mind as long as there is some colour there, but the vintage blue KW and the reissue blue KWJr have completely clear heads for some reason.

Hi guys, I don't know if a single neo henshin cyborg constitutes a collection, but anyway, am attaching pics of mine: Cheers, Garvy

Hey, one is enough! That one is one of the coolest. Who's airplane is he in? Hahahaha! I was hoping someone would ask exactly that question! I always kept that one cyborg in his box since I didn't have any vehicle for him. Am really a sucker for guys and their rides. Knowing that the cyborg is 12 inches, I though that he could fit with the Max Steele attack jet so I went out, looked for a jet and bought one on sale! Voila! Perfect fit! Oh, btw, check the forward section of the jet, there's a small victory project sticker! Just thought it would be a nice touch to lend some validity to the whole mix and match thing. Am usually a purist and don't mix and match one line of toys with that of another! Cheers, Garvy

Don't forget thatUk Palitoy's Action Man (space ranger series) drove around in Steve Austin's vehicle in the late 1970's. (released by kenner in the usa, a totally different toy company) Action man also wore steve austin's space gloves & boots. Validity of mixing and matching is left up to interpretation when it comes to import toy lines, especially after the toyline leaves it''s country of origin.
Who knows what the English speaking world could have done to the modern cyborg toyline if enough people had cared...
