anubis20 you'd put it over Baxinger?? If so, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan the hype is real. Great shots to all and even knowing the height on paper it's really something to see it next to other pieces in these in-hand shots. Sadly I didnt get that one because I had never heard of Baxingar and then aftermarket went through the roof But from watching reviews Baxingar was definitely super impressive. I think Goshogun might just be a notch lower than Baxingar because it doesnt combine. A combiner with amazing articulation just cant be beaten IMO. Still its an amazing figure that feels that its worth every penny because of the care and detail that went into it and im a new Pose+ fan. Unlike some of the recent expensive stuff that is disintegrating garbage... *cough* MP-47 *cough*. Yea I had to pick a figure that I knew almost everyone had for a size comparison

Anyone have a confirmed weight on Goshogun? I've heard close to 2lbs. Unfortunately, I'm at the mercy of BBTS for mine. Hopefully get it by spring...

Just got mine along with Baxinger, somehow they both ended up arriving at about the same time. I have feeling this is gonna tickle a majority of my boxes in what I look for in a modern chogokin from my old hometown in HK. Just really awesome to see other companies coming up to take on Bandai in this craft and super excited to see what else these guys will come up with next.

Yeah, luckily or unfortunately I'm at work right now so all temptation to get overloaded will have to wait until later tonight.

ok i'm officially a fan of this company, there are some areas that bandai is still the king of the hill on but if these guys continue to hone in on their efforts they can really give bandai a run for its money.
Baxinger is an under noticed figure of 2019, I still love the dairugger for various nostalgia reasons, but this guy literally can hold a high side kick pose kicking dairugger's head is just silly fun. I just wish it had side hip ratcheted joints like goshogun does. It seems like the company is still learning, I do have some concerns with the leg connectors locking mechanisms being plastic clips but perhaps this is a non-issue as it does lock in quite well. Some tolerance issues when I was connecting the missile to the gun pods, mainly due to paint. The heft on this guy isn't bad, but don't expect soul of chogokin level heft. I think Golion and to some degree Dairugger even left me with a different expectation when it comes to heft surround chogokin at 26 cm levels these days. Paint job looks on par with Bandai and is really well done.
I did run into a QC issue with my Goshogun, the mini bot's right backpack wing will not fold, seems like a badly joined wing, i almost bent it off trying to move not realizing it was stuck and probably won't be moving anytime soon. So be careful when you open yours and take a really close look at the wing segments. Goshogun is more polished between the two, but then again it isn't a combiner. Really strong ratchets where it is needed and the pose-ability on this one is just ridiculous for a gokin this size. I really love the shoulder pads on Goshogun and its spring mechanism is really nice touch. I wish Goshogun had articulate hands but minor nitpick. The presence of this guy looks really nice standing next to Golion and Dairugger. He fits with them nicely. I don't have the batteries to try out the go flash effect, but he looks amazing standing next to the old school gokin and cms goshogun.
Both figures feel really solid overall, and Pose+ has establish itself as a contender to watch out in their future releases... I'm now tempted to pick up the gold lightan even though I already have the bandai soc one. decisions decisions...

congrats and welcome to the club
you know almost nothing from Art Storm will disappoint you,
Ive said it many times and i will say it again, Art Storm are head to head with Bandai now and its only a matter of who they do next to take their crown
i want Zanda Cross and to have the ability to build it up just like the anime

Yes you are definitely correct, many good figures have come out but the articulation on Mazinkaiser blew me away at that time.

Riobot Mazinkaiser was a pretty phenomenal release and groundbreaking in the sense of bringing a new, coveted design, and a focus on articulation that the particular Mecha hadn't seen. It's not often that an original take on a mecha can lead to sales of a slavish SOC tanking. There's a very real reason why it sells for damned near double its price now. To this day it's pretty mind blowing to even look at on my shelf.
Does it mean that there haven't been good releases since? Of course not and that's silly to imply. However, when it comes to releases that have an actual impact on the fandom and standards set for how homages to a particular mecha should be treated I'd argue that no; outside of maybe FX-71 Golion and the recent Baxinger I really haven't seen much in between that breaks the mold as much as that piece did.

oh my bad i thought you are talking in general not in the specific articulation category
in that case yes Sen Mazinkaiser was ahead in term of articulation, but the fear of the figure could get broken in half, put me away from getting it
for me i was really amazed by the GX88 articulation
