I guess one of the pros without diecast is the price is kept relatively lower at ¥3500. (around $35.00) I hope we get Daimos too to complete the trilogy.

I think this is pretty cool! You get the vehicle modes and the robot in a cute, superdeformed fashion. It's like buying a Nendoroid or a Funko pop of your favorite robot romance trilogy robot for your desktop, except it's functional and not horribly ugly. I'll get one of these for sure!

I wanted to be disappointed at the lack of metal in these but when I saw that price...it's really hard to argue with that. LOL I will be getting all of these for sure. Count me in for a Daimos as well.

Can't really argue with that price at all. They're small and cute, so it's more than enough tbh.

For that price, I would buy them as a desk toy. Definitely beats any spinner nonsense. ;D

Just found out...Action Toys is actually part of the same group that owns MakeToys. Very cool.

This might be the answer to my less than a $100 Voltes V figs. Are these out for pre order? I saw someone at fb having a list of pre-orders for this lineup.

Do we know FOR SURE that these combine/transform? The promotional material so far hasn't been explicitly clear. Just hoping they aren't like that Kids Logic Combattler that had a combined mode and individual ships in one box. The low price point is making me suspicious, too.

I think you’ll get the robot with the vehicles.

The Kids Logic ship parts totally did not look like the same parts on the robot (compare the blue vehicle windows to the ones on the robot), unlike these Action Toys versions that do. There's hinges and joints in the ship modes on the Action Toys version. The Kids Logic ships below did not have any type of hinges or joints on their ships to even simulate any kind of transformation.

Well, fingers crossed for fully transformable.

It’s just the price is so unbelievably low I can’t imagine how they’ll pull that off. The frigate does seem to show the same back knee joint as the robot mode.
