Not especially exciting, but I made it. He needs an afro, and a fist (why don't NHC's come with extra fists?). It's hard to see, but the big whoop is that I painted his insides black. i think it looks better this way, vs wimpy girlie-man silver ins ides.   |

He looks like he's tinted black as well as the black insides. As I understand it, the very first ToysRUs exclusive Neo had black machinery. I don't think I've ever seen it for sale.
I recommend you switch the flash off and light the figure from the side or behind.
What paints did you use in the end?

Actually, he really looks like that in real life, even though I didn't add any extra tinting. I used krylon latex spray pain for the purple cyborg99, but for this one I had black acrylic enamel, but it was a bad idea, it doesn't stick as well to metallic plastic and tends to drain off while its drying so you need more coats. Here's a shot with backlighting, I tried sidelighting etc, but it makes no difference.  |
