oh i was looking for this thread to be honest the paint is awful on this figure (a bit too dark) not to mention if you compare it to the EX version it will lose in every section i hope they reconsider it, give it a decent vivid paint, along with black marker details because like this it wont be a a successful release I agree, black panel lines, especially on white parts, would be a great addition. I hope for a release in the end of this year... Japanese makers (except Bandai) are often too slow in the process, that is so annoying...! |

the figure is now available for preorder

the figure is about 12 cm not an ounce of Diecast its made of ABS PVC, i guess its from a new line called Frame Action Meister
so if you are wondering this figure cant be compared to the legendary EX Gokin, the only thing this figure got is double jointed elbow and knees, also the chest can be removed to reveal the inside mechanic, its not highly details tho
on the good side its not expensive, i preorder one just in case

I will definitely get this  Excellent rendition of Juohmaru. But I have to admit, price is high for a 12cm tall figure ! That's a pity Sentinel didn't go for a 6inch scale figure with diecast content. It would have been so much better ! |

Man, this just made the monetary and my personal value of the EX gokin go up that much more. Surprised at the 4inch scale but in fairness it's a literal toy so scaling with their other products it makes absolute sense. It's "cute" and will make a nice display.

i preorder one because i just love this robot after looking at it and talking to couple of friends, here is what i think the figure is coming short in 1st the paint its not high quality it looks cheap under the light 2nd also the paint specially the upper part, you see they went all the way in the legs and the bottom with the black detailing, but the waist up its just not finished !
chest armor, stomach armor, shoulders, and the two pieces close to the neck, are lacking the black detailing, giving the figure the unfinished look
3rd the over all look of the figure is just not there, i know its a cheap figure but i dont mind paying a little extra to make it a bit better

the paint looks a bit better here (maybe the lights)
im still not happy with the way this figure is painted its like they didnt finish it specially the upper body parts (chest, shoulder, arms, stomach, head) all should have a black detailing, its just so stupid to deliver the figure like this
if didnt get what i mean take a look at Fewture version

I'll take this sentinel product as a nice little action figure, with hopefully a good quality ! I look forward to see this figure in person.

i agree with you and i will get the Sentinel for the same reason as well, plus it got a decent articulation and i just love Juohmaru

yes i thought about doing so to make it more alive
and yes they were but you know how fewture roll they take their sweet sweet time on stuff

it got released finally
HLJ just charged me, to be honest i dont like the price AT, its all plastic and it incomparable to Fewture version
the only thing it got going is the articulation but still i feel i paid alot for it, the fair price should be $65

It seems that some buyers do agree on the fact that the price should be lower for what you get ! Moreover, unfortunately there is a very annoying mistake on the Juohmaru face : the nose is not "stuck" on the nose guard part of the helmet !Here is a picture :  How could they do this huge mistake ?   |

yes i saw it earlier, i didnt care much since they are going on a different route than fewture, its not anime accurate and the only reason you would buy this, is because you are a fan and you need a double jointed elbow and knees
its just not fair to compare it to fewture, like compare a hawk to a chicken

to be honest its not as bad as i thought but its insanely small
Bandai need to do Juohmaru i want the same team who worked on the MB Mazinger z to work on it and they could go the extra mile and give it an LEDs that will be amazing to have

i just got the figure
first impression
doesn't worth the asking price AT ALL, i paid around $85, for what i got it should no more than half of that, im dead serious
man my phone is taller than this figure, and the details are abit washed out, the paint is not pure white its kinda darkish white
best way to describe the figure, its a the next level revoltech
i dont recommend getting it AT ALL, unless you are a hard core fan then you should get it while its on sale other than that its awful nothing absolutely NOTHING compared to Fewture
will give you more information when i review it the figure

That's such a pity, prototype back then was very promising... They ended up releasing a cheap product. IMHO Sentinel should have go for higher standards, and include Juohmaru in the RIOBOT series. Bad marketing choice if you ask me !
