I rather pay this much than those scalper's prices.
Just bought this guy on NY! Thanks for the link! I wasn't sure I wanted EVA. But I just finished the series on Netflix, and really identified with the final six episodes. This, and the fact that I'm paying $330 may speak to my mental health.... Same here. Not an Eva fan, but I am attracted to its design. Gonna try watch those Netflix series. Oh well if I am not happy with it I can turn into a scalper meself. LOL
Buying this would be good for your mental health. Would you like to sit infront of your PC, F5'ing for hours, trying to get this Eva, but in fact the first 30 secs of PO opened, its all sold out? I thought I'd gone crazy that day.

Thanks for joining our brotherhood. Watch the series and you'll be hooked! (Hopefully). The 1st 20 episodes were an extended buildup and back story. It was kinda mundane, imo. But then, WOW!! Things turned in a way I never would have expected!! It was honestly shocking - and I thought I'd seen it all. I'm onto the other Netflix Eva movies. (One is a synopsis, the other is an additional story). And I must find MB Unit 02 NOW! I just hope when asked of my favorite Mecha Anime, I don't morph into a mindless stooge and answer, "I like Eva and Gurren Lagann!" Didn't think I'd revert to noob status this many years into the hobby, lol. |

Well, the figure us up to $340 now on Amazon. It's completely awesome, btw. I'm so happy with mine and I'm absolutely impressed. It's pretty perfect, imo. The head articulation could be a little better, but it's nicer than the recent SoCs I've picked up.

This was in stock at SRP at Tamashi Nations store in Akihabara. Didn't buy it because I had no more luggage space  DX-Combattler was also in stock at Tamashi Nations and other retailers in Tokyo while I was there. :/ |

Didn't buy it because I had no more luggage space DX-Combattler was also in stock at Tamashi Nations and other retailers in Tokyo while I was there. :/ DX Combattler V would be almost impossible to haul as luggage with that gigantic box.  Thought MB Eva 01 already had their 2nd batch sometime ago. From what I can tell, the first batch was very hard to get, sold out immediately (did get myself one luckily). Then aftermarket price skyrocketed. Then months later came the 2nd batch, and price went down and Eva 01 was readily available for a while at retail price. Guess it ran out again? |
