Hahahahaha I love that voice!!!!! You strange, strange man. Kidding aside, I would love to see SoC handle Thunder Megazord, and try to figure out the engineering nightmare that would be getting the red dragonzord to have proper articulation for both its dragon and robot mode, along with having engineering to allow for Megazord articulation.

My first guess if they didn't say f**k it would be a number of unlockable secondary joints throughout the limbs that can "break" for the armored articulation.

So, let me get this right (forgive me folks, I did NOT watch the series nor was interested but collect the toys because I'm a neurotic nutbar for gokin): The white brontosaurus mech here is just a ride-on brick for the Megazord and the green Godzillazord? That's it? No other purpose? I know it is a big deal for fans but as an outsider who has zero vested feelings for the series, it looks kinda...silly? <ducks> I mean, I'll buy it because I'm a completist headcase...but, still.

If you have no interest in the series or mecha why buy them to the point if completing the line? Asking honestly. And Titanus (as titled) is a carrier zord and named per function. They're "boring" but they combined modes are where it's at. Ones the Tor and Pyramidas have robot modes as well.

They're "boring" but they combined modes are where it's at. Ones the Tor and Pyramidas have robot modes as well. Because, I'm neurotic. From my TBDX days, those who know me there will know I'll irrationally buy anything gokin-related from Japan toymakers -- marriage and family has made it more limited to Bandai pretty much now with sprinkles of 3rd-party TFs and TakaraTomy Masterpiece TFs. But, before, I was quite the Artstorm/Fewture, Yamato and CM's Corp hoarder and still have them in storage. Anyways, I'm not hating on the toy or concept of Titanus per se, but I just find it a more odd-looking combination than most gattai-ing mecha. MIND YOU, I have Revolver Mammoth from Hurricanger to go with Gouraijin, Senpuujin, et al...so, I should just STFU.

I will add, Kuma, that I do love Japanese mecha as a default rule. So, I'd say I have not watched a large chunk of many of the robots I've picked up but, I still love them. So, ask me if I've seen Gravion or many of the Gundam anime to-date. I've only watched G Gundam in its entirety and well, no Metal Build or Gundam FIX Figuration from that series. The rest? I just hoard because I love the look of them. Just an example.

Understood. -------------- Re: Titanus - Man, someone on MW brought up a neat subject in the weight of the combined mode. I'm thinking that even if Titanus doesn't have what's considered "a lot" of diecast from its size alone and the fa t that Bandai uses pretty solid materials even with their plastics there's no way to avoid this being anything but hefty so the combined mode is really going to be something.

From an engineering perspective, it may make sense to give Titanus a heftier base -- so maybe where the other Zords stand is where some metal will be for support? Usually, as this toy gets marketed more in the hobby magazines, there will be diagrams of where the gokin is located...hopefully.

The combined Ultrazord in no way feels loose or unstable. This won't need metal - but it would be nice. Again, vintage Sentai carries (like DyJupiter) are all plastic. So, a gokinless Titanus wouldn't be out of character. But an SoC without diecast would. So we'll see....

Which version of the Legacy do you have of Titanus (mind you, I only know of the one released in 2015 as "Legacy")...? While I do not own it, I am quite certain diecast is located on the chest plate, claws, wheels, and on the tail at least from reviews and people I've chatted with?
