Was the weapons pack ever used in the show? Supposedly it was used in the manga. Was in the UC manga, but not connected to the back. Was just 2 gatllings on the right forearm.

I pre-ordered that as well.
Back to the figure itself. One thing I really like is how the peg on the stand that plugs into the figure is reenforced compared to the other MB stands, which is something I think am going to really appreciate. I've had to repair 2 stands where the locking peg broke at that point.

I've wanted an XN Raiser for my MB 00s ever since I saw the original HG kit... unfortunately I don't need yet another complete 00 to go with it Hopefully one of the vendors eventually offers just an add-on kit, sorta like the GN Sword II Blaster.

This ggmara dude is a gem, much good info. Basically, the world of resin business lies down seeing their work ripped off, by none other than their Chinese brothers who make Metal Build figures. However, it's also a good news for consumers. I mean: Resin level of detail + Metal = win.

I'm having a hard time deciding between the Steel Legend and Metal Club versions... looks like the Metal Club is based off the Elyn Hobby version from ~5 years ago?

Well, the MC version costs less l, is more detailed than the Steel Legend version, comes with funnel effects parts, and has a stand which the Steel Legend version doesn't, which is ashamed since the effects parts the Steel Legend comes with are thruster effects.

In my opinion both look really cool and are very well designed. I don't know about quality over time but both look like solid figures. The steel legend design varies while the mc tries to be close to anime. The MC have a stand and also you can get the option parts. The steel legend have one thing that I really liked and it is that you can lock in place the "shields", being as heavy as they are it's a great perk. That being said I'm going with the MC.

Apparently Wuming, the other company putting out the MB Freedom that has all the problems with manufacturing, is apparently recalling their first run of figures because of the quality issues. ggmara.blogspot.com/2019/01/blog-post_24.html

Imagine how harmful those bits will do to the environment! Anyway I digress, but looks like my bet on MC is correct.

I greatly look forward to your opinions on the MC version. I think I like the proportions a little more on the Steel Legend, but the MC is more anime accurate colored and has more accessories.

I greatly look forward to your opinions on the MC version. I think I like the proportions a little more on the Steel Legend, but the MC is more anime accurate colored and has more accessories. So mine arrived yesterday! I have not been able to have a proper play with it yet as I am away from home - however I did manage have a brief sneak-peak! From my very limited time, it appears to be great figure. The paint apps apps are are quite sharp and highly detailed. I don't see any of the overspray that was visible in the video previews. The whole figure has a nice mat finish. The feet are amazing! Some assembly is required, so I have not been able to assess joints properly (only looked at individual parts) - but they felt reasonably stiff in hand. The plastic on the armour feels a bit light (not as good as mo show plastic quality for example) but has been cast well. Not noticed any spru marks yet. From the quick look I am very happy - I will update my impressions when I am back from holiday. A word of warning, the packaging is poor (plastic clam shell with light card stock) and does not afford much protection to the figure! Mine arrived with its right chest plate snapped off completely - must of happened in transit. I think it might be easy for me to fix with glue or perhaps a pin (a plastic lug has sheared)? I don't know whether to raise this issue with show z. You will be at the mercy of the couriers when you order. I think this should be packed in foam/polystyrene given how delicate it is.

Got my Steel Legend Kshatriya. Such a great piece! The details on this figure is incredible. Although not as highly engineered and super-loaded gimmicks like metal builds, it suffices as it's a solid figure. Tight joints, QC is great, although one of my shoulder pieces is a little lose but has no impact on poseability or tightness of the joints. I hate that the it doesn't come with the gatling guns that the other version will come out with, but it's all good.
