Keep in mind that could just be a pre-production sample sent to reviewers. Hmm, the Chinese quote below says that this is how the manufacturer is shipping it. Hope that's not true... Yup, Samueldecal just confirmed that's how the Sinanju is shipping. He said he's going to repackage in bubble wrap for his customers. Damn, no idea why they would do that.

I just got notified to the MC Freedom is ready and I paid for the figure. Weird issue though is ShowZStore has two listings for it. Did you receive it already? Seems taller than the MB Strike Freedom based on the photos on ShowZ.

I got my first half of Sazabi in today. So far what joints I could mess with are tight. Tampo-printing is good, but could be a little sharper. Paint is crisp and well-applied. Plastic quality feels good, not too thin, not overly thick. LED works just fine. Hopefully, when I get part 2 and put him all together he'll be great.

Looking forward to hearing how it is altogether. I held off on it and waiting for the second batch.

It's for if you want to have spikes on both shoulders at the same time. It'd be nice if it came with the right angle piece also so that you can have double spiked fists!

Just got the other part of MB Sazabi, and it's a pretty amazing figure. They definitely could have packed this in a single box, anti-Bandai measures i guess. Plastic quality reminds me of MC Kashatriya (so slightly thinner and lighter, perhaps a bit more brittle than Bandai MB plastic), and the finish+detailing is better than MC. Super hefty, the main joints are very tight, I'm quite happy with the fit and finish. Majority of the colors are injection plastic colors, with two-tone red RG style. Thruster and nozzle details are amazing as well. I'd probably watch a review on YouTube to see where all the gimmicks are as it doesn't have instructions, and you could break something if you pull the wrong way. Cons: As you can see in the photo, the head/neck led unit battery is screwed on with a plastic flap that is thin and won't close properly. I'm not sure if it's just my unit, but the neck unit doesn't feel set into the torso very tightly as it rocks forward and back a little bit perhaps due to that flap not being flush. Pretty minor and not really noticeable once in place, but just have to be careful if you hold it upside down the head may fall out if its loose like mine. Minor out of bounds in 1-2 places in gold trim painting but nothing egregious. Funnel hatch doesn't close convincingly, has a bit of springiness to it. I know in a reviewers video manufacturer said the gap is intentional, but the gap isn't even. So I feel they didn't get the tolerances quite right there. Finally, there is a bit more play in the ankle than I'd like; since the body is quite heavy if you tilt it forward or backwards too much it will fall over, so its gonna have to stand a bit centered. Then again if you're looking for articulation in a Sazabi you should be looking elsewhere. I'm personally not a fan of the painted solid beam effects but that's just me. All in all a very good, detailed figure with some minor flaws but well worth the price. Most things fit well and tight, great shelf presence and detail and lots of ooen hatch gimmicks to show off. Don't expect crazy poses out of it (doesn't even come with a stand) but it'll look badaas just standing there like Sazabi should. Eager to hear other RJ bro's experience/opinions on this.

I got mine today too. My battery compartment is also like this. I really wish they made the battery compartment part less of a disaster or used smaller batteries. LOL. I had to look back and forth with bright lights, but it does appear the reds are indeed painted or at the very least top coated with a matte spray and this after comparing it to the underside of Sazabi's head which is unpainted. The ankles defintely have more pose-ability forward and back then I thought and that should help with balancing the figure. On my copy the inner shoulder joint that depresses and elevates the shoulder is not necessarily loose, but not strong enough to hold up the shield in some poses. Overall, I think this was a decent first effort from this company and a good 1/100 Sazabi to have on the shelf.

There is what I think is a matte clear finish like Moleman noted above, but its definitely not painted. The boosters for example are painted and the finish feels decidedly different.
