Anyone collecting? I have been “out” on the mainstream toys for awhile now, but I think these have pulled me back in. Overall the quality (paint, plastic, durability) feels much better. And the G1 styling is fun to me, anyway. What are your impressions?

Was given Sideswipe by a friend as a Christmas gift and I gave it to my son. He enjoys it way more. No doubt, it’s nice looking. Very similar features to the Masterpiece version. I like the head sculpt much more compared to the Mp. Nonetheless, it’s more a toy and less a collectible to me. It’s purpose is better serve with my son.

They remind me / look very much like the older Armada, Energon, Cybertron lines... look good and playable for the kids, but not at adult collector level.

Can’t wait for Jetfire! Totally agree. I just place a pre-order on Hasbro Pulse. They say it’s a Aug-Sept release. Looks amazing. I was going to pick up the 30th Anny version, but glad I held off. IMO, this one is much better looking. |

Its a good line so far. The weaponizers are a great addition. Sculpts are nice, quality is better than its been in a while and so far I am finding Jetfire to be the best from the line.  |

Got mine pre-order early. Also picked up the Omega Supreme. I would agree the line is turned out some nice ones. Being a collector from the beginning, I pick a few of the best ones from each line. This line does have quite a few. The jetfire has something amazing articulation. |

I think this is the best line of toys since the Cybertron toys. I think when they have a story line that goes into the 3rd season or series, it really gives them time to get their engineering done right. So by the time that the 3rd season (I.e Cybertron or War) comes out they are really getting very good at design and transformation with the toys. But then again combiner wars gave us some great stuff.
