So many flaws here on design... It's not like they don't have material on this model... (from their own page... I know a bit Spencer from MAAS Toys (ex Maketoys) and I will be severe and demanding (in term of design and toy production). The whole statement for quite every Toy companies is to be ANIME acurate on shape/design... See how companies like POSE+, Sentinl /Flame Toys, Bandai (check Myth Cloth now) are breaking their mind to push design x playability x enginnering... I can speak also about what we are doing at MMC with OX Combaticons : we are trying to folow the cartoon flavor (hyped a lot in TF collectors mood) but also considering G1 toy, OX Studio dynamic design, engineering (yes, they are combinning with no spare parts)... What I meaned it is very challenging creating toys now and technologies help a lot. Anyway, this Hover Tank need to have a better transfo, better design... Even it's a firts drop to tease project. Southern cross has a unique design challenge here like mostly all designs from this cartoon era: rounded shapes with edges design, long legs proportions, tiny head... It's about dynamic and power of a stance. Every opening from that kind of mecha naime were so dope ! C-mon MAAS Toys, push the limits !

Im a bit suspicious in those 3D designs... I think they dont have the final designs yet. Coz those look like they were taken straight from Matchbox HoverTank toys. From its bulky robot mode to the very thick tank mode.

I found the gems in Southern Cross are actually the human armor/power suit, really unique and cool designs, and their plastic model kits was a trendy boom back in the days (the exposed boobies on the female characters helped I supposed). I wonder why no company ever try to recapture those armor in nicer action figure form. More appealing and money making potential than this mech IMHO.

I hope this happens..The Southern Cross mechs never really got any exposure..I would love to see them do the Logan fighter with the pilot and the AJACS attack helicopter would be AWESOME aswell!
I also think that they should do the characters in their battle armor in a nice size scale like 1/6..Like the StarWars Black Series size figures..
