thank you guys for your support
i will share with you some of the photos of the QC issues i have
this is the part i told you about, the sad thing i didn't even move it with force i was been extra careful before it pop out in my hand, the plastic circle that hold the joint is very cheaply made sadly
those are the scratches on shin ( i gave it to a friend who kinda helped with the scratches and made them waaaay less visible) but trust me it looks worse in person
this is the paint from the fists ? im not sure exactly which one
there is more QC like titan super loose waist and the plastic cracking sound on RA while transforming it but i didn't take photos or videos for that
Geez. That is just awful. I dunno what Bandai was thinking to even let this come off production.

Got mine a week ago or so. No QC issues like those noted above. However - I *cannot* get the arms to detach from combined mode.
Nothing noted in the instructions to un-combine them. My first time with the mold. What am I missing?

be extra careful, a friend of mine got one of the arms broken
i recommend checking reviews in youtube to see what is the safest method to do so

Yeah, I started with checking YouTube videos before posting heh. Most don't un-combine it, and the 1 that I found that did, it just pulled out.

I also noticed that the arms are very hard to get out also. Original gx-40 was alot easier(came out no prob). Don't wanna damage it so I'm gonna just leave it combined and maybe get a vanilla gx-40 down the road sometime. Also is it me or was spinix also alot smoother to combine on the original? I love this figure either way but yea definitely noticed some things that were smoother on the original(ratchets and joints though imo are better on this, more clicky).

Well this got a lot worse. Was just articulating the arm, then this happened.

So far, this R re-release sounds scary. Almost regret I got the original and missing out on the retro deco. But seems like it wasn't as bad of a choice owning the original anymore.

If anyone who is having problems bought from a U.S. retailer contact bluefin so that they can walk you through a part replacement form. Sometimes it takes a month or two but you're gauranteed your replacement.

So Gx 40 R confirmed to have QC issues than original GX 40? Should I prowl for the original GX 40 instead?

Yea as long as it has a bluefin sticker on it you should be good to go. Glad you're on the right path. -------------- I remember with the GX-40 reissue there were consistent problems with the arm connectors being weak. In fact I'd bought a sealed one and one of the arm bots had that connector piece rattling around inside of it in the box. I got a refund for it and found the original released which was perfect q.c. wise. I wonder if they looked at the reissue connector problem and went too far towards the opposite end making ut too thick or something to try to avoid the same problem on this renewal.

Got a response from Bluefin:
"Hello, Your request has been placed. It can take 6-8 weeks to receive parts.
Thank you, Bluefin Customer Service"
So that's positive I guess, but pretty terse. No info really lol. Like, are they going to ship me new figures, or just some parts and I need to break out the screwdriver, or what, heh.

Sometimes it takes a month or two but you're gauranteed your replacement. I've had similar good experiences regarding that sort of thing if you purchased through HLJ. They are very good for CS and will get all the info from you and submit to Bandai for replacement of what is needed.
