hello guys i just got both of Combattler and Voltes
i will answer some of the most questions people asked regarding this line
does they feel cheap ?
not at all, for the price both look good and they didn't feel cheap for me, yes they are made of plastic but its not a cheap plastic
are they flimsy or floppy ?
well they are not like revoltech, and they stand fine, also they can do some poses
are they overpriced ?
for about $20 each not at all you get exactly what you paid for, they are affordable combiners for those who dont want to spend over $200 for a figure
how does they compare to SOC or FA ?
there isn't any comparison between them since each line is targeting a different market and a different slice of customers
this is the most questions people asked me about them
in my opinion and as a fan of the robots, i dont feel that i overpaid for them, i dont feel they are cheap in any ways, and im glad that i got them
they are fun to play with and fun to combine, a nice addiction to my collection they are just cute
worth to mention
Combattler v face isn't not accurate, also there is a tiny QC on Voltes V foot (the door wont close right) but i dont see it as a deal breaker
i will continue to support AT, since they are doing a respectable job and i cant wait for Daimos

Thanks Gokin for the spoilers.....lol.....cant understand others why is it over priced?>? Heck the Bandia minipla kits are more expensive in my opinion. They are kits, meaning more plastic with assembly and parts forming features. The Action Toys have plastics alright but they put some taught on the combining and transformation gimmicks. I ordered the Robot trilogy from the deformed to the mini's. I already got the mini's and AT hasnt disappointed me so far.

i just wanted to give my opinion because some people are so worried about the quality
and please forgot about Bandai Minipla kit, look at Sentinel Jouhmaru, the asking price for it is almost the price of the trio combined, keep in mind its not a combiner and it didnt gave anything new to the character
i can tell you since i own them all, the plastic and the joints on the AT felt way better than Sentinel
now the wait for Daimos i will FINALLY be able to complete the trio in 1 line at least, i really dont know when will Bandai will release the FA Combattler

Well said. Ill give a thumbs up for Action Toys for coming up with this. It will definitely pull more people into the hobby. The people who wants to be part of the community but does not want to spend ridiculous amounts of money. Straight out of the box all-in gimmick combiner.. no pla building whatsoever.. space saver too.

couldn't agree more with what has been said, its a good set to get for those looking for a very reasonable Q combiner set of these two iconic combiners

I hope hobbyists or super robot enthusiasts will continue to support this line. So much more thats needed to be made. Imagine them making Dairugger, Albegas, Balatack, Danguard Ace, etc for less than 40usd lol.. Cant wait.

As nice as these are, ArtStorm/Action-Toys still needs to up their QC on these.
Got reports of mis-moulded/mis-aligned parts on the MiniDeformed Voltes V and loose/non-locking Volt-Bomber on the Mini-Action Voltes V.
Trouble is they don't support nor respond to non-Japan customers, and the import-shops are OOS on these items themselves.

I opened mine last night. The balance between quality, price, model and toy is fantastic. The closest thing I can compare them to (from my collection) are the Bandai Robot Damashii figures - quality of materials and construction seems comparable (if you allow that these will be a bit more fiddly, since they transform). Once transformed they are well connected though. Recommended!

i dont own it and i didnt read about it in details so i dont know to be honest
but i can tell you these are good figures and totally worth it even for those who own the SOC and the FA

the problem i saw with the Mini Action was in Volt lander, the right foot door wont close properly
but its not a deal breaker for me

Back in the day, we used to call these babies "toy cracks" Interesting trivia, SOCs were considered toy cracks, but now, they cost as much as the big ticket "vintage" items, lolz
