Chromatron Force commander

I remember a California cyborg/micronaut collector and computer animator (named Mike P.) Who actually found a real Chromatron in a thrift store. He traded it away to an Italian dealer without ever knowing just how rare a toy it really was. Guess this Italian custom job is as close as many of us are ever going to get to the real deal.

Looks like a silver spray paint job, rather than an actual chroming process was used. My Biotron's head went all yellow when I was living in damp student digs many years ago and I had to touch him up with silver spray. It just doesn't reflect the same.

Somehow if they had chromed it and/or done some actual detail work this would be more appealing...just spraying a Force Commander silver is just not that special...hell I can pick up a yellowed one of Ebay for 1/3 of that and do it myself...
