I just got mine from another seller, I'm not sure what folks were saying about it being light. It isn't light, I seriously think golion really spoiled us . I do noticed that my shoulder ratchets could be a little tighter and the helicopter propellers do come off easily as many have spoken to already. Its beats MM dairugger no doubt with the connection points and stability especially with the roller feet challenges of the old removed from this release. Definitely a must get for those who are Dairugger fans. Paint apps are clean and sharp as expected from Bandai. So Bandai, when are we getting a DX version for this guy? You’re talking about the shoulder tightness that does the lateral/side movement, yes? Fyi, I still have the toydojo preorder if anyone wants it but not sure how the shipping will be to anyone’s location for those who want it. They sent me an invoice already.

Nippon Yasan has accepted my PayPal refund request and it has already posted to my account. I have preordered it at another place and should have it next week for cheaper.

Okay, this has my vote for Toy of the Year. I was originally thinking of the DX Chogokin VF-1J, due to its innovations and updates to the VF-1 toy design, but GX-88 has really blown it away with the sculpt, color, details, and hand-feel. You can see the love Bandai put into this figure. There is diecast in almost every piece. Almost. When you open the face the first time, do it slowly and see how the face pushes forward as you slide the covers open. The paint is perfect. Amazing little details like silver vents here and there. The manual is full color and 31 pages. Didn't get that kind of love with the SoC FA figures. One thing to be aware of, there are release buttons on various connections, which you need to press to disconnect. Look at the manual carefully and note those connections. If you try to separate with brute force you might strip and damage the lock mechanism. Very important for the waist and chest. Take your time to learn the figure. http://instagram.com/p/B5EAQeqgHXi

Still pending from NY. They suck. Not buying from them after this. I just got a "Preparation in progress" email from NY today. I can't believe N-Y hasn't shipped out yet and some people (like myself) who ordered from US retail have theirs in hand already. That is just WRONG. I've ripped about N-Y in many FB posts, in particular about how long it take for them to ship after release date. It's inexcusable. They need to hire more people for their warehouse, especially since they like to limited pre-orders on highly-sought items only to relist it minutes later with a huge markup. N-Y is now my last resort on exclusives if I cannot find anywhere else. I try to avoid them lately.

Yeah, no change for me. Big relief for those of you who got shipping notices. Crickets still for me.
Brutal.
I just don't get why these guys would have a PO opening for an item they do not have inventory for. Idiotic.

I went through the same nightmare for the GFFMC Zaku and seriously, this Rollerskatestron is the last purchase. Thankfully, I'm also basically semi-retired from collecting as I'll be very picky with what I buy going forward. But, yikes, talk about leaving the hobby with a weird taste in my mouth.
Freaking action figure...you'd think it's signing up for a limited run at a private session with Kate Beckinsale or something.

I am glad Nippon Yasan didn’t get around to shipping it. Got the PayPal refund and ended up saving around $130.00 with free shipping at Sure Thing Toys.

It may not be, but still, its the best were going to get, and probably the last Vehicle Voltron we'll ever see from Bandai. The fact that Bandai even decided to released this was a surprise, since they didn't really have too. Having both the GX-71 and GX-88 finally after years of wishing, is in my opinion, superior. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Still hoping for a DX version (maybe I'll see one in a decade from now... ) come on Bandai I can wait another decade for it LOL

My right shoulder joint (vertical rotation) soft ratchet is a little loose in comparison to my left shoulder, making it hold sword poses a little tricky with slight shakes as I handle the figture. I'm hoping this is just a minor issue with mine.

Just got mine and man I am extremely pleased with this toy. The connections that don't have a lock don't require huge force to decombine. The legs I was worried about because it has the same connection idea as the gx-72 but this thing holds extremely well. Huge shout-out if he's on this forum, Brandon from Surpreme collector, thank you for being an awesome dude and doing what you do for the community. Toy of the year for sure imo.

I'm hoping this is just a minor issue with mine. That's normal. I have the same issue but the trick to that is you have to fully insert it to the body then. Try this, before you fully insert the arm, do a Superman flying pose on a plank position. the right shoulder should fall. Then insert it fully and do the same. It should not fall.
