Saw something about this on either this site or somewhere else. I just acquired a Jeeg and should I be removing the spring from the disc launcher cause it will explode? Can’t seem to find any info about it any more.

I’ve heard a few people recommend it over the years, my launcher is broken so I don’t have that worry. Lol

I don’t have any disks so have no idea if mine is broken or not. Anyone selling any?

Can't say I have ever seen the Jeeg flying disks ever for sale. I don't have the accessory which had similar looking flying disks to know if they were the same or not.
I think there is a strong compression spring inside and pushing outward in force for the locking mechanism and that it could make the center hub break out. Which must have happened on a few toys.

I tried attaching some of the disks from bootlegs like UFO Battle Fever and space valour but those didn’t fit. I paid about 1K for one with both fists and no disks. May have overpaid. May just open it to see if it’s about to explode.  |
