Very excited about this release, since I am a Ideon fan. So happen this will be in scale with some of the toylines like certain Robot Damashii's and SOCs since it is 1/144. It will make a glorious display. Get it while you can, preorder still available in most shops right now. If you want the exclusive characters plaque display, you'll need to buy from Bandai Premium website.

Finally opened this thing tonight. While the size and sculpt is impressive, the execution on the vinyl is just ok. Paint app is not flawless and often off the edge or not straight enough in the shoulder, neck areas where most of the painted details are. Not bad, but also not as crisp as I expect for this price. Also, it inherit a common issue with vinyl figures, having many parts slightly warped. It is particularly obvious because Ideon has a lot of rectangular blocky shapes with straight edges and flat panels, but the figure has a lot of slight curves and bends on these supposingly straight blocks. So the figure overall doesn't have the clean straight shapes the promo pictures show. A bit disappointing in this department.
It is still an impressive figure. Stands well, has good heft but not too heavy to handle. Colors are good. While I was hoping the figure would be a 10/10 due to the high cost, it turned out to be a 7/10 in execution. I suppose vinyl is still better for monsters and round shaped robots, but no good for robots with very square-ish design like Ideon.
