Sentinel has his "perfect change" (similar to SHE studio version) in production but didn't heard about CCS doing a renewal,

Isn't that one of the old pics? Thought the 2.0 is only shown in this grey prototype. Some details changed and proportion tweaked.

im more than happy with my older version, but seriously what did they do ? maybe LEDs

for me the paint on the older version is just spot on, also i think its 3 years early to do a V2.0

i think its just a reissue to go along Lazengann

I have the first one and cant find any difference. I'm with S here, probably just a reissue to go with the lazengann. may be the can make a gurren brigade set to go along, I the gurren brigade designs....

If that unpainted prototype is the 2.0 and not a proto of the original release before final production, you can see the knees are different. Very subtle differences.

Not reissue. Heard from a HK toy podcast that the host/shop owner knows people at CCS Toys, mentioned the 2.0 weeks before info surfaced. I just didn't bring it up to sound like "I know a guy that knows a guy..." The head-shoulder proportion is quite different (head look smaller in proportion to shoulders), the crotch piece has a new sculpt. The legs are also stockier and less 'slim', and feet look less like having big feet on the old, from what I can see. It may still re-use a lot of older parts, but is indeed a 2.0.

If you want a GL, wait patiently for the 2.0. CCSToys make quality stuff, and I am sure they will improve on the GL with the updates.
