I would hope based off the perceived sales, that this becomes a line. However, I remember the Otona no Chogokin Space Shuttle that Bandai released. They had multiple releases and versions of the Saturn V rocket, but I remember reading that they did not make enough profit on the shuttle due its complexity and sales to make it viable for a second release. Granted, I'm sure Gundam sales are way higher, but this could end up being a one-time release. Just something to consider.

If that’s the case then I’m extremely happy they started with this one. Between this and the msa0011 from metal spirits I’m a happy camper.

Bandai normal will have to judge the production rerun or reissue,I think the Metal Structure line is a good start... And will continue..The first metal build line started, for Gunplu and figure collector not sure what is line define, after few figures issue and they love it.. So this time they know what to expect.. |

As for the production rerun, I think Bandai will consider.They can change color variant repack and sell again..Also can include Fin Funnel and sell in Tamashii shop exclusive...Like the Metal build strike freedom soul blue.. Some line there won't be another reissue, like DX SOC mazinger Z, now the 2nd market price is high, but the demand for reissue is not there...They want to make profit without making too many, and go to the discount bin |

I really, really hope entertainmentearth and/or eknightmedia will carry this high end figure. I emailed both stores over the weekend and praying for a positive response.

I am impressed by the engineering efforts behind all the details on the open hatch and inner frame.
I am even more impressed at how fast this sells out despite the high price point.
One thing I am on the fence is this seems to be another DX Mazinger, Great Mazinger and Combattler V. For a figure of this size and price, I would expect that its articulation rivals that of a Metal Build figure where we get double jointed elbows and needs that allow us to create at least a kneeling pose like what's common in the anime.
Now a Mastergrade Nu Gundam has double jointed elbows and knees, so i am quite baffled at why a masterpiece such as this falls behind that standard. Perhaps it is not a standard to expect of in the first place.
That being said, with all the hype on the instant sell out and inflated secondary prices, I am sure this figure will do well at release and there will be many who jump on the bandwagon or ride on emotions and pay good money for it.
